CASE STUDY

The purpose of the task: To help students to notice and identify leadership styles and
actions in social life.
The form of the task: Group work in a teams of 3 members
Work presentation form: pdf; docx.
The scope of the task: Case study paper must contain all of the following parts:

1. INTRODUCTION
Give an overview of what your case study analyses

2. BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Here you can write the most relevant facts and important details to make the context
clear.
Describe the situation in which leader(s) acted. When and why did it happen? What was
the scale of the problem? Briefly describe the person (or persons) who took the lead in
the situation.
3. STEP-BY-STEP ANALYSIS
Reveal the impact of the leader’s decisions and actions on the situation. What decision
did leaders make? What action did they take? What leadership style they aplied? What
details do indicate the style?
How those actions affected people and situation? How these consequences affected next
decisions and actions? Reveal both positive and negative aspects.
4. SOLUTIONS/RECOMMENDATIONS
Discuss your chosen solution, why leaders actions were right, on-time, wrong, of-time.
How would you recommend to act to improve a situation or solve a problem? What
consequences would your recomended action bring?
5. REFERENCES OR BIBLIOGRAPHY
Task evaluation system:
Assessment of work in the system of cumulative assessment of the subject makes up 20%. (2
points) final module evaluation.
