CONFIGURATION
Previous checking on BM0496*** AND SETTING

¿When must it be done??

-In a new board.
-In a board where a parameter reset has been done.
-In a board where the configuration dissapeared because battery end of life.
Test of the 3V DC battery:
Procedure for a new board coming from factory:
1.- Verify it comes without CN42 jumper.
2.- Close the entry switch. Display will light on.
3.- Put CN42 jumper and check the battery voltage is >=2.8V
4.- Open entry switch, and when display lights off check that voltage keeps the same value

Procedure for the original board:

1.-Close the entry switch. Display will light on.
2.-Check the battery voltage is >=2.8V.
3.-Open the entry switch, and when display lights off check that voltage keeps the same value.

*In case the battery is not in a good condition, will be necessary to replace it following the procedure of the corresponding technical
note
CONFIGURATION
Previous checking on BM0496*** AND SETTING

Checking that battery keeps the configuration correctly:

With the board already connected:
1.-Verify the hour and date in the main menu is correctly set.
2.-Stop completely the equipment until display switches off.
3.-Start again the equipment.
4.-Verify that hour and date has not changed to Jan 1st and hour to 00:00.
If is not this way, the configuration has been succesfully saved:
1.-Check the CN42 jumper on BM0496*** board is ON.
2.-A problem in the battery: bad placed or out of autonomy.
3.-Change the BM0496*** board.
CONFIGURATION
Start-up and settings for BM0496*** AND SETTING

1.- Place SW2 in configuration mode:

-With the equipment

stopped:
- Place Switch 2 from
the BM0496*** control
board with pins nº3
(equipment name /
manufacturer change)
and nº 4 (test mode) to
ON.
- Close entry switch

CONFIGURATION
Start-up and settings for BM0496*** AND SETTING

- How to adjust inverter voltage:

- Measure output voltage in phase R of the inverter with a RMS voltmeter.
-Verify that value measured corresponds with the one shown at the display.
- In case of no agreement, it will be adjusted.
-Repeat all this process for phases S and T.

-How to adjust inverter voltage OFFSET:

-Connect a 230V transformer in parallel at the phase output (N - R)
-Check with the osciloscope ammeter (or with a premium tester) the no existance of
DC voltage at the output in inverter mode.
-In case of existing, positive or negative, adjust the phase R offset using the display.
-Repeat all this process for phases S and T
CONFIGURATION

11.- Battery life control system in CUBE3 equipments

System has a hour counter which acumulates the hours the equipment has been
working since batteries installation. Once this counter exceeds the programmed
number of hours (3 years by default), an alarm activates indicating the user of this
issue.
By default this system is not activated, but in case not, it will be found in the following
menu:

**This screen is ONLY visible if this control

system is implemented**
CONFIGURATION
Start-up and settings for BM0496*** AND SETTING

12.- Ending the process:

- Stop completely the equipment until display lights off, to save the settings.
- Switch again pins nº3 (equipment name / manufacturer change) and nº 4 (test mode)
from BM0496*** board to OFF.

Adjustment for control board has ended.
