Overview
　Our sector (Foods, Energy and Chemical Department) is developing a new businesses that could possbily become
coulthe foundation business of Hanwa in the future. Since last year, we are helding a "Pitch Competitions" which aims for
a collaboration with start-up companies, investing on funds established by "Provident Group", a business partner of Renewable
Energy Sector, and also aiming for collaboration with technology companies in Southeast Asia.

We named this event as Hanwa Business Idea Contest and aim to gather innovative business ideas from Hanwa Japan
and overseas for commercializing those ideas and make it happen. Since we will actively invest and challenge for innovative ideas,
please apply to the event.

Recruiting Sectors
(1) Existing business category
New business ideas which can be connected to existing businesses

(2) New business category

Entirely new business ideas that Hanwa is not currently participating in

(3) Provident Growth Fund category

New business idea which is related to investors of Provident Growth Funds (Please see the attachment)

* The secondary selection and final contest dates are tentative and
subject to change depending on the operating schedule.
 Remarks
・You can apply for any numbers of business plans, but please submit each business proposal (attached format)
for each plan.
・You can submit the entry individually or with partners. You may also increase the number of members during
the selection process.
・There are no limitation for entry unless participants are from Hanwa.
(New employees, temporary employees, executives and overseas national staffs are able to freely participate.)
・The theme will be the above three sectors, but the ideas do not have to be related to your department.
(For example, someone from steel department can suggest an idea which is involved in the food business.)
・Schedule is as above and the selection process follows as The Primary Selection (documents)
→ Secondary Selection (Interview) → Final Contest (presentation).
(For Participants from out of Tokyo, we will conduct TV interveiw for secondary selection but the final contest will be held at Tokyo)
・The selection process will be conducted in a fair way by people selected by the office and opinions may be requested
from experts and responsible department or sectors, if necessary.
・The Winning Business ideas will be committed to MR/ Commercialize by ensuring budgt and human resources from
17th floor departments. (If there is an approval of the boss, the proposer can become a member who would run this.)
・When business ideas are commercialized and become a profitable business, the profit equivalent to each month will be
transferred to the department or sector where the business idea provider is belong to.
(For the business idea provider, in the form of a contribution of the benefits to the department, will be awared
a higher bonus)
