Literature review
There are number of researches that explored and explained the marriage and
marriage institutions.
Kristin Anderson Moore (2004), Susan M. jekielek (2004) this research addresses
that question by examining the concept of healthy marriage and the element that
taken together help to define it, such as commitment, marital satisfaction, and
communication and two more elements that have to avoid in making a marriage
healthy is violence and infidelity.

Gordis, Robert (1953) researcher found closeness and intimate relationship before
marriage. Monogamy is law of the land and adultery, which is denounced in the
Decalogue, is a major crime. Young people are expected to be stain from intimate
relations before marriage and to restrict them to their marriage partner afterward.
The finding is giving show that living before marriage is a crime and forbidden.

R veenhnoven (1998) she claim that married people typically happier then singles
unhappiness is a handicap in marriage life. The humanist view Is that happiness
rather clear the way for genuine love and commitment in marriage. The study also
show the the people not married they feel lonely and not having a good company.
Farzanah zaheri, mahrokh dolation (2020) conduct a study, the concept and
dimension of a successful marriage. The purpose of this study is the couple having
knowledge about each other happiness as well as spouse family, knowing
necessary life skill as well as recognizing and understanding married life in a better
way. Moreover they manage their married life through achieving positive
behavioral qualities. They collect the data from 10 couple (Iranian) and their age
was 40 to 42. According to findings the average age of the men and women was
42.50 ± 8.51 and 40.20 ± 7.67, respectively. Additionally, the average marriage
ages were 28.59±2.90 for men and 26.25 ± 3.89 for women

Rahma Yurliani, Indri Kamala, and Liza Marini, (2018). They articulated in their
study describe general marriage role expectation and the marriage of aspects role
in expectation in late adolescence in the city of Medan. This shows that late
adolescence in general have married role expectation in the modernly category,
where husband and wife share a role in financial responsibility, house work, taking
care and raising children as well as making decision in the house hold. In second
that men also want traditional value such as, where the husband is the source of
income and making all decision while the wife is taking care of husband house and
children.
Amato, Johnson, Booth, and Rogers (2003) stated that the overview
related to gender roles has increasingly developed so that the role
expected by individuals towards their partners is also growing. Marriage
role expectation can vary for each individual.
Riggio and weiser, (2008) A person can shape the expectations of
marriage through personal experience with a partner, by observing the
role of both parents in the family, and observing the marriage process of
others .
