A Concept Paper About a Short – Film Named Selfless Love

I. Project Description

The concept of our film is about a woman who lost her mind just because she lost her entire
family. She’s struggling because she doesn’t seem to know where her family is, can’t figure out
what to do or where to start searching for them. But the plot twist is she really didn’t have any
family; she just grew up in the streets where she’s only living because of begging people to
give her some food or money. She’s an orphan who’s longing to be loved for so long. That’s
why she kept thinking that someone is there by her side, to comfort and care for her. However,
to produce this kind of film, we need volunteers and the approval of the barangay officials to
achieve our target concept.

II. Purpose Statement

The main purpose of our project is to inspire other people to treasure their loved ones,
because once their gone we can’t bring them back. This film is not just for teenagers but also, for
the adults. It is for the people who kept neglecting and ignoring people around them, who truly care
for them and who makes them safe. It is for them to discover how important a person really is or
what is their worth. This film is created for them which can change their mind on how to treat a
person is, it is their chance to realize the value of a single person.
III. Procedures / Steps in Executing the Project

This short film project will be achieved by following these steps:

 First, we need the cooperation and approval of the barangay officials to be able to conduct our
project.
 Second, if we have the approval of the officials, we’ll begin to find volunteers for the short film
project on the upcoming festival.
 Third, we will find a place where they always held events for the people to easily come and for
them to be comfortable.
 And lastly, we will provide a documentary and virtual screening for those who cannot attend our
festival.

IV. Anticipated Budget

This project needs a lot of money to be able to budget it evenly, our estimated budget for this
project is around php300,000. Because it also includes the artist or volunteers, production team,
travel fees, props, and the venue.
