I. Project Description

This project will help provide awareness to all ages, specifically about mental health and
the struggle of orphaned teenagers specially when they reach the age of 16-18 when the
orphanages tend to kick them out. As there’s plenty of orphaned teenagers that get a lot of
mental health problems both before and after they get adopted. This short-film will demonstrate
different types of moral lessons throughout the whole movie.

Additionally, all of the income from the short-film will go to mental health programs,
orphanages, programs and organizations that help both mental health and orphanages. As for
the fund in creating this short-film will come from donations, and people whom are interested in
films or film-making. Most of the crews and actors will be volunteers and students who wants to
have experience or harness the skills that they already have.

II. Purpose Statement

All the beneficiaries are the mental health

programs/organizations orphanages and charities associated with it.
One of the orphanages being the Our lady of Perpetual Help Caysaysay Children’s Home. This
children’s home is run by seven nun taking care of 40 children ages 2-14 without any NGO or
government assistance. Another organization we wish to help is the ACAY Mission Philippines,
as their goal is to give second chance for the youth at risk. Since 1997, ACAY offers a second
chance to youth at risk between the ages 15-23 years old through creative and innovated
pedagogical method which lead them to recover their dignity and find meaning for their lives.
They have different
programs such as their Second Chance Progra, School of Life Program and Family Program.
They also encourage others to volunteer and donate.

We wish to assist and donate to these type of charity, programs and organization so that all
these children get the ability to have both the reassurance and help that they need and require

III. Procedures/Steps in Executing the Project

1. Project plan
 Finding the inspiration, ideas making the script, identifying the location of shoots,
finding volunteers or crew, get a workflow checklist, to do lists, make a schedule
2. Brainstorming
 Make that inspiration into something creative and real. Find and interview orphans
and get to know their stories to have better knowledge through all of the entirely of it.
Express what they feel so that it can really touch the audience watching the film.
3. Funds and Volunteers
 Since our project is morely from donation and the crew are volunteers, make a
schedule and time for everyone to work together and make time.
4. Props and Gears
 Acquire the required props and gears such as lighting, cameras and booking/renting
sets on locations.
5. Execution
  The filming and editing process of the whole short-film, revise and do what needs to
be done. Recheck and keep tabbing into everything. Put this film into action

IV. Anticipated Budget

We raised 150,000 for the short film from cinema enthusiasts and those with kind hearts. It
will be extremely beneficial in improving and organizing the short-film we will create. We ensure
that the donation they give will not be wasted because it will benefit not just us but also those in
need
