1. Discuss the historical facts of Philippine education to start from the Monroe Survey
(1925) to the Presidential Task Force on Education (2008).

2. From the above knowledge that you acquired, describe the curriculum, the test
performance, the job competency, the international acceptability of graduates and
professionals according to the Bologna Accord.

3. Discuss the findings that the High school graduates are not prepared for higher education,
employment, entrepreneurship – in terms of competence, emotional maturity and legal
age. What remedy should you recommend to improve the above constraints of these
graduates?

4. Discuss the readiness of DepEd in the implementation of the K-12 program especially the
Senior High School in terms of faculty competency, material resources for classrooms,
computer literacy laboratory and other facilities as well as its subsequent on the job
training. How should you enhance these deficiencies to improve the quality of our Senior
High School graduates? You may cite your reference to justify your answer.

5. Compare/contrast the educational curriculum of the Philippines, Singapore, and Japan.


Enumerate the deficiencies of the Philippine basic education program as against these
two countries and which of these deficiencies should be prioritized to remedy and fast
track the enhancement of the current K-12 program to be at par with the same countries.

6. The performance of Filipinos in International examinations and competitions in Science,


Mathematics and English proficiencies have been reported to be declining. It is
threatened some more by the COVID 19 pandemic. Where did the Philippines failed in
this aspect and what logical and doable solutions would you recommend that may be
appealing and convincing to the top management of DepEd.
