1) Bachelor’s in Interior Design (BID) Course, candidates who have cleared the qualifying examination from an eligible Board from the school located in
India (Including Gujarat State) with minimum eligibility criteria as prescribed by AICTE/Council from time to time have obtained valid score in
NATA as prescribed by the Council.
As per AICTE, for admission to Bachelor’s in Interior Design (BID) program a candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics as mandatory subjects with 50% marks in aggregate and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 examination and have obtained valid
score in the NATA as prescribed by Council.
OR
Passed 10+3 Diploma* examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject having obtained at least 50% marks in the aggregate and have obtained valid
score in the NATA as prescribed by Council.
* - A candidate shall have passed the Diploma (I0+ 3) of any stream with Mathematics as a compulsory subject from-
(a) The Technical Examination Board, Gujarat State or
(b) A University established or incorporated by or under a Central or a State Act or an institution declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the
University Grants Commission Act. 1956 (3 or 1956)
2) Candidates who have cleared the qualifying examination from school located outside
India with minimum eligibility criteria as prescribed by AICTE/Council from time to time, and equivalency defined by Association of Indian Universities
(AIU), New Delhi shall be eligible for admission.
3) The candidate shall have to pass all the subjects of the qualifying examination from a single Board.
Note:
Candidates awaiting 10+2 result will have to produce a certificate from the principal of the high school that he/she has appeared for in the 10+2 Standard
examination of the Science Stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. Candidates who have applied for
verification/rechecking of marks may also apply and submit the rechecking certificate.
In all the cases, aggregate marks will be calculated based on all the subjects including languages, optional courses, practical examination etc. if applicable.
Failure in any subject disqualifies the candidature.
All the candidates must submit final mark sheet on or before the stipulated date and time and satisfy the minimum requirements failing which admission
will not be granted/forfeited.
Note: Eligibility criteria for All India seats is according to the Government of Gujarat Guidelines.
