Since I’m a fan of beaches, I want to experience the island in Easter Visayas, Leyte, which is the

Kalanggaman Island. The island is called Kalanggaman because of its bird-like shape when viewed
from above due to the long sandbar on both ends of the island. "Langgam" is a local word for
bird.
It is like a smaller version of the famous tourist spot in the Philippines, which is Boracay, or the
other country, which is the Maldives.
I imagine myself surrounded by peaceful water while fulfilling the summer getaway. As a lover of
the sea, I’m interested in their water activities like swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, or scuba
diving, which I'm kinda scared to try out, but when I get over it, I think the island will capture my
heart. And since this island has no electricity, I have the choice to camp out and watch the stars
overnight, and it is really a good place for my family and friends so that we can get more quality
time.
I’m also curious about their delicacies, which is the binagol. It says that it is a very famous food in
Leyte that can be seen notably in Dagami. It is a sweet delicacy that is made from "taro" or "gabi,"
a mixture of flour, sugar, milk, and a crushed root crop called "yam" or "gabi."It says that Binagol
is one of the top delicacies that we must try.
