A Summer I Will Never Forget

This summer, I had the best vacation ever! My family and I went to
Hundred Islands. When my parents broke the news, I felt giddy. I
wondered how Hundred Islands looked like. Is it as beautiful as the
pictures? Are there really a Hundred Islands?

Hundred Islands, a national park located in the City of Alaminos,

Pangasinan, is also known to the natives as Kapulo-puloan or Taytay
Bakes. We got to the place by riding a rented jeepney. We got to island
hop via motorboats. The boat ride was scary at first but the view calmed
me eventually. The clear blue water was inviting. The place is magical!

We got the crystal clear water more as we went snorkeling. I

wanted to catch some fish and put them in an aquarium but then they
would certainly miss their paradise. My arms got all sore by paddling
during our banana boat ride but I felt the fun more than I felt the fatigue.
