Make your own Halloween mask

• Print the mas ks from the pdf.
• Glue the mas k to a piece of cardboard and, us ing s cis s ors , cut around the
mas k - always as k an adult for help with this part.
• Colour in the mas k - remember to make it as s cary as you can!
• Cut two eye holes through the mas k: it’s difficult to cut through the two
layers s o as k an adult to help.
• Make a hole on each s ide of the mas k and tie s ome elas tic through.
• Finally, put the mas k over your face and have fun s caring your friends
and family!

Bobbing for Apples

What you need:
Apples
Water/milk
Red food colouring (if using milk)
Bucket/tub
Newspaper


How to play:

• Find a suitable tub or bucket to use as your ‘cauldron’.
• Fill the tub with water or, to add a terrifying twist to this classic
Halloween game, add red food colouring to milk for a scary
blood-like effect.
• If you’re playing inside it’s a good idea to put some old newspaper
down in the playing area - it can get a little wet!
• Once you have your ‘cauldron’ ready, add the apples. Six medium
sized ones should be fine.
• Let the kids (and growns-ups if they like) take turns bobbing 
for apples.

Note: Bobbing means standing with your hands behind your back
and using your mouth to pick up the apple.

Pin The Wart On The Witch

What you need:
A picture of a Halloween witch
Blu-Tack
A blindfold
A pen/marker

How to play:

• Print the picture of the Halloween witch (on the next page).
• Stick the picture on the wall.
•• Before a child plays, blindfold them and spin them around three times.
The kids then take turns sticking the ‘wart’ (a piece of Blu-Tack) on the
witch, with the aim being to get it as close to the end of the witch’s nose 
as possible.
• Once they’ve stuck the Blu-Tack on, remove it and make note of the child’s
initials where it was stuck.
• The child who gets the wart closest to the end of the nose wins a prize.

Mummy Wrap
What you need:
Toilet/Kitchen paper

How to play:

• Divide the kids into teams of two. Each team needs to select a ‘Mummy’
and a ‘Mummy wrapper’.
• Announce it is a race to see which mummy wrapper can wrap their
mummy in paper the fastest.
• If the paper tears, they have to start again.
• The fastest team wins a treat.
