ADMISSION PROCEDURE
1. Candidates who have been allotted through Centralized counselling by the MCC of DGHS for
admission to MBBS Degree programme in the Deemed to be University for the academic year
2022-23, are advised to report and complete the admission process within the date and time as
per the allotment order issued by the DGHS . All the days will be working days for our
Admissions office during the reporting period.
3. Please reports to the Admission Office from 8:30 AM onwards till 4:30 PM, along with your
Parent / Legal Guardian.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
1. Please bring the ORIGINALS of the following Certificates (Failure to produce these certificates
without exception will result in rejection of your candidature)
1. PH Certificate ( If Applicable)
2. Online Provisional Allotment Letter issued by the MCC
3. OBC/SC/ST Certificate (if Applicable)
4. NEET UG 2022 Admit Card issued by NTA
5. NEET UG 2022 Result / Rank letter issued by NTA
6. 12th Mark Sheet
7. Date of Birth Certificate /10TH /12TH Mark Sheet
1. OBC certificate issued by the competent authority. The sub-caste should tally
with the Central List of OBC. The OBC candidates should not belong to Creamy
Layer to claim OBC reservation benefit. The OBC certificate must be in the
standard format as mentioned in the prospectus/ Information Bulletin.
2. SC/ST Certificate issued by the competent authority (in the standard format as
specified in the prospectus/information bulletin) and it should be in English or
Hindi in language. Sub caste should be clearly mentioned in the certificate.
Some of the States insist for English version of Caste Certificate. In case the
certificate is in regional language the candidate should carry a Attested
translated copy of the certificate in English/ Hindi

ANNUAL FEES
Please note that confirmation of admission is possible only on payment of fees in toto for
the first year. Fee should be paid every year for five years.

NON RESIDENT INDIANS (NRI) / OVERSEAS CITIZENS OF INDIA (OCI) & FOREIGN
STUDENTS

At MGMCRI, you will have a dedicated Students’ Welfare Officer to take care of your academic
and personal welfare.
Please ensure that you have the following documents in addition to the above mentioned rules
(Refer Point 1 & Point 2 in page 2) when you report to our colleges
1. Candidate’s Parents residence certificate issued by the Embassy of the country complying the
Income Tax Rules & Income Tax Documents required as per the Income Tax Act 1961
2. If Foreign Student: Valid Passport, Visa / Residence Permit
3. If Overseas Citizen of India: Valid Passport of Original Nationality, OCI Card
4. Please Note that the Qualifying Degrees / Certificates of the candidates must have been
recognized and approved by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) / Commonwealth
Universities / International Association of Universities (IAU) as equivalent to the corresponding
Indian Degrees/Certificates (Foreign Nationals).

MODE OF PAYMENT
Payment of the Annual Fees in toto is essential to secure Admission.
Fees should be paid at the time of reporting for admission by online mode (RTGS/NEFT) /
DD in favour of the Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute, Payable at
Puducherry.
After transferring the Fees in toto, please send your Transaction ID for
confirmation of your payment to admissions@sbvu.ac.in
Please Note: 1. The Admission will be processed and confirmed only on producing all the
Original Certificates and payment of the Fees in toto (by Demand Draft or
Online mode). Any discrepancy or inability to produce any of the
certificates or pay the fees will result in summary forfeiture of the
candidature and no further correspondence will be entertained.
3. The tuition fee and other fee paid in the first year will remain the same for
the second year to final year.

REFUND / DISCONTINUATION - POLICY
Withdrawal of candidacy shall be strictly according to guidelines prescribed by the MCC.
1 In case of re-allocation / resign after Rs. 25,000/- Processing fee will be collected
the first round of counselling and the remaining will be refunded to the same
account from where the fee was transferred.
Request for cancellation through E-mail / Telephone/Mobile etc., will not be entertained.
HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION
Separate hostels are available for male and female undergraduates and are comfortably
furnished. All undergraduate students will have to compulsorily reside in the Campus.
The rooms are fully furnished, with air-conditioning, hot water geysers, student Wi-Fi and
other amenities. The hostels feature common areas with reading halls, gym, theatre,
playgrounds for football, hockey, cricket, volleyball, basketball & lawn tennis, etc.
MEDICAL FITNESS
Medical Fitness of the candidate for undertaking the professional course is a mandatory
requirement for securing admission. All candidates shall undergo a medical examination
(which includes mental fitness) for determining the fitness at one of the University’s tertiary
care hospitals and be certified to be medically fit.

RAGGING
There is a strict zero tolerance policy with regard to ragging. Any student found indulging in
ragging will be dealt with in accordance with rules in the force prohibiting ragging and thus
result in dismissal from the University as per the “Medical Council of India (Prevention and
Prohibition of ragging in Medical College / Institutions) Regulations, 2009” (as amended),
and “UGC Regulations on curbing the menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions,

All UG students are governed by a strict code of conduct and are expected to uphold dignity
of the medical profession and the ethos of the Deemed to be University, morally and
ethically. Any behaviour or action unbecoming of a Medical professional shall be deemed
punishable.
High levels of academic commitment are expected of students. Parents / Guardian are
expected to cooperate with the University to ensure high standards of education and
professionalism that would be imparted to their wards
