Audience Psychographic:
The readers lean on the food industry area of which the core similarities are the love of cooking
food, specifically Filipino induced cuisines, such as a variety of recipes taken from the provinces
of the country. They value the essence of making a dish that fits the taste buds of a Filipino
household honoring and representing one's homeland foods. Cooking traditionally or a more
modern way is also the interest of the audience, to explore the wholeness of a dish. Some
audiences may arise from a lifestyle surrounding themselves with the etiquettes of food, their
everyday routine of cooking for the family or their jobs. Most Filipinos are in love with the idea of
cooking different local foods, and this results to the increasing of audience in the food industry.
Many of them are relying on youtube videos and cooking magazines, so this makes it easier for
them to learn different recipes at home.
Textual Analysis:
● Font - The magazine’s name, or “masthead”, is printed in huge, eye-catching type so
that the readers know immediately what it is. The masthead of Yummy Magazine is bold,
as its magazine’s slogan or tagline, which is placed below the masthead in smaller type.
The cover lines that run around the edges of the pages are also designed to entice
readers with their simple, searchable, and organized collection of potential recipes. I
noticed that the magazine's header and sidebars feature a standard bold font, while the
bottom design features all lowercase letters, and the bottom side part features a curvy
font type that is both modern and quite neutral and can have different uses and
personalities, making it appropriate for readers of all ages and genders.

● Color Palette - This magazine's choice of bright yellow for impermanent lines serves to
highlight them and draw the reader's attention; other significant colors include pale green
and pure white. Yellow, white, and black are the primary colors used for the typeface.
This typeface performs an excellent job at attracting the audience, which in turn informs
us that the magazine has a large number of interesting things to read and look at. As we
all know, yellow is connected with pleasure, happiness, brightness, and energy. As a
result, readers will be thrilled by the lines and can't wait to get their hands on the recipes
and other insider details.

● Images - The image of the magazine features different types of unique Filipino dishes.
Although, its main image is the buttered shrimp since it is the dish among the four that
captures the most attention of the audience. This proves how famous that Filipino dish is
itself. This shows that the audience of the magazine are for people who love to eat and
learn how to cook traditional Filipino cuisines.

● Language - The magazine uses a language that emits a scrumptious vibe that grabs the
attention of all food lovers. It also makes the audience hungry with the way the magazine
is being portrayed.
