The objective of this production is to practice what I learned in this subject during
the bimester. I am going to develop the skills I have now in the English language.
This will allow me to be more fluent writing and comprehending it also speaking it
in whenever I need it.
Introduction

It is important to learn a new language, it can contribute to a better communication

with people around the world and also helps to get better opportunities in life. The
following production is a composition about my favorite food. I am giving my
personal information about food and I am talking a little bit about what I like. In this
final project I am talking about my favorite food, restaurants I go, why I like it, I
show pictures of the food and I refer to my last time at a restaurant.
Development

My name is Indhira Valerio. I like to eat a lot and I usually cook what I
like to eat. I have many favorite foods because it is hard to pick just
one. I like to have different foods through the week so my family and I
don’t get bored. One of my favorite foods is a typical Dominican dish
called ‘’Sancocho’’ it has many ingredients such as 4 to 5 different
kinds of meat, I like to add chicken, beef, pork, sausages, long pork
sausage, etc. It also has plantain and yucca; I eat it with white rice.
Another dish I really like it’s the Dominican flag; that is white rice,
beans and meat. When we have a special day to celebrate we cook
one of my very favorite meals which consists of pastelon, rice with
beans, mixed salad and pork, I feel really happy when I have this
because is so delicious and I share with my family.I like all these foods
because they taste really good and they are part of my culture.The last
time I went to a restaurant was with my husband to celebrate our
anniversary and we had a lot of fun, I remember we had wine, shrimps,
mofongo and mashed potatoes. It was a wonderful night.

Conclusion

I chose this topic ‘’Write about your favorite food’’ with the objective of practicing
the knowledge I got during the class. It was interesting to make due to the
challenges it presented. It is important to know how to express things we want to
say in English and use it in the future if necessary. This production intends to fulfill
all the competences learned during the class.
