Presentation, Interpretation and Analysis of Data

This chapter deals with the presentation, interpretation and analysis of data. It

answers the research question(s): (1) What is the perception of Senior High School

students on the National Planetarium as an educational site?, (2) Does the Senior High

School student view the National Planetarium as an education site?, (3) Why was the

National Planetarium not viewed/viewed as an educational site?

1. What is the perception of Senior High School students on the National

Planetarium as an educational site?

The researchers took 7 of 38 characteristics from the American Alliance of Museums

and used it as a basis for the characteristics of an educational site. The respondents

checked if the following characteristics are observed or not observed inside the

National Planetarium. Table 1 shows that most of these characteristics are observed in

the National Planetarium.

2. Does the Senior High School student view the National Planetarium as an

education site?

The researchers gave the respondents survey questionnaires which answers the

question: “Do you view the National Planetarium as an educational site? How?”. The
