Head of Engineering - Water Treatment
Profile:
• Education: Chemical Engineer, Environmental Engineer, Electromechanical
Engineer.
• Advanced English
• Systems: Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Note), Project,
Autocad notions.
• Experience: 2 years in the areas of Integration of Proposals and/or
Engineering, all/only in the Water Industry.
Activities:
Coordination, planning and supervision of a team of Engineers responsible for the
development and generation of Engineering documentation for the integration of
proposals and/or tenders for solutions to water and wastewater treatment needs;
industrial, municipal and/or commercial.
Karen (interviewer): Hello, good afternoon. Nice to me you. Well, tell me about
you.
Mildred (Interviewed): Good afternoon too, well I am currently a student of
environmental engineering, with tsu concluded in the same area, I can tell you that
I am a health and safety intern in a yarn weaving company, I consider that my
analytical and empathic personality helps me a lot in my work.
Jessica: (Interviewed): Hello, Nice to me you too. I am an engineer in
environmental technology and I am a university technician (TSU) in environmental
chemistry, I studied at the technological university of León. During the period of
stays at TSU I was working in a wastewater treatment plant, in the maintenance of
pilot plants. Later I was doing a research stay where I worked on the creation of
new materials from waste, which allowed me to develop my skills in the laboratory.
Karen (interviewer): Why do you want to work for this company?
Mildred (Interviewed): I believe that my skills can be used by the company and
that I can learn a lot from you.
Jessica (Interviewed): I would like to work in this company since I find the salary
and benefits offered to me very attractive, in addition to the fact that I think it would
be a great opportunity for my professional growth.
Caro (interviewer): What salary do you expect?
Mildred (Interviewed): I would like to earn $40 thousand pesos per month
Jessica: (Interviewed): I would like to have a salary of $25,000 pesos per month
Karen (interviewer): How has your education prepared you for this position?
Mildred (Interviewed): I have studied for 5 years, 3 of which I was awarded a
university technical degree, in which I have performed many activities and I
consider myself fit to work.
Jessica: (Interviewed): The career I studied is very focused on applying chemistry
and engineering in wastewater treatment, at the university I developed skills in
conducting chemical analyzes of water, in addition to the design and operation of
wastewater treatment plants.
Caro (interviewer): What do you feel your strong points are? Your weak points?
Mildred (Interviewed): well, I have analytical skills, risk assessment skills, excel
skills, I would say that my biggest weakness is that sometimes I am too sensitive.
Jessica (Interviewed): I think my strengths are responsibility, curiosity and sense
of investigation, honesty and perseverance and my weak point is that I'm a bit
disorganized.
Karen (interviewer): Are you more comfortable working in a large group or with
just a few people?
Mildred (Interviewed): I like change, so I can work with both.
Jessica (Interviewed): I prefer to work with small groups since I find it easier to
have good communication with all the members, however I have also worked with
large groups, and I have carried out the work
Caro (interviewer): do you think you work under pressure?
Mildred (Interviewed): I feel it is not necessary, as there is a time for each action
and working under pressure can be detrimental.
Jessica (Interviewed): Working under pressure is not a problem for me, since
university I have been required to give results despite the time or any other
situation.
Karen (interviewer): Finally, I would like to know how you see yourselves in five
years working in this company?
Mildred (Interviewed): I see myself in a higher position, with more knowledge,
with support and respect from my collaborators, I see myself growing.
Jessica: (Interviewed): I would love to be generating new projects to innovate and
improve the company. I would also love to be able to link the company with other
companies to generate industrial symbiosis.
Caro (interviewer): Thank you very much for your time. I will give you the results
of the interview below. I think the most suitable candidate for the position is Karen,
as she has a little more interest and experience in wastewater treatment.

Interview 2.

Mildred (interviewer): Good morning, ladies, I am pleased to welcome you today


for your job interview here at Soluciones MEX Inc.
Jessica (Interviewer): Thank you very much, I have been waiting for this day, I
really like the company, and I would really like them to be part of this company
Caro (Interviewed): I was reading about the vacancy and I found it very interesting
to work in a team.
Karen: (Interviewed): We have been colleagues since high school, so we believe
we can contribute our knowledge to this venture.
Mildred (interviewer): Well, as you can see, the vacancy is for the health and
safety area, so I need to ask you specific questions to know if your profile is the
required one.
Jessica (Interviewer): alright, so let's get started, let's say why occupational
safety and health is important
Caro (Interviewed): because it prevents accidents at work
Karen: (Interviewed): of course, apart from promoting a culture of self-care
Mildred (interviewer): What hard skills can you offer the company?
Jessica (Interviewer): It is very important that they are completely honest in order
to make a correct evaluation.
Caro (Interviewed): well, I have analytical skills, risk assessment skills, excel
skills.
Mildred (interviewer): And what soft skills can you offer to the company?
Karen: (Interviewed): For my part, I can say that I have the empathy skill, I also
have leadership skills active listening and problem solving.
Caro (Interviewed): I also have the resilience skill
Jessica (Interviewer): How much experience do you have regarding STPS
regulations?
Karen: (Interviewed): I consider that I have sufficient experience in terms of the
regulations applicable to the position, however each applicability varies depending
on the various processes that are handled
Mildred (interviewer): I understand, so anything you would like to add or comment
on that could enrich the evaluation we have made.
Caro (Interviewed): I appreciate the time and the opportunity to get to know
myself a little in terms of what I can contribute to the company, I hope to have the
opportunity to perform my skills and always contribute continuous improvement
Karen: (Interviewed): I appreciate the opportunity and in the same way I hope to
perform in the best way with you
Mildred (interviewer): Then allow us to review and we will shortly be
