• Database Engine is limited to lesser of 1 Socket or 4 cores
• Maximum Memory per instance is 1 GB
• Maximum Database size is 10GB
• Maximum instance per server is 50
• Series L/M/N/P system demands could potentially exceed the performance capabilities of SQL Express, requiring
customers to consider SQL Server Standard or Enterprise Editions as appropriate

Video Smart Search
• In C•CURE 9000 v2.90, the platform has the ability
for video investigation, video analytics, and camera
alarms.
There are now built-in video analytic searches for the American Dynamics VideoEdge NVR
following Network Video Recorder (NVR) platforms
American Dynamics VideoEdge
Exacq
Third party video partners can take advantage
of updated SDKs to offer analytic searches for
their integrations

23
New Features > Video Smart Search What’s New in C•CURE 9000 v2.90
Video Smart Search (cont.)
• Supported Video (Analytic) Searches (American
Dynamics)
Date/Time*
Searches specific time ranges using only time-related parameters.
Thumbnail*
A date and time search which displays results as thumbnail
images.
Motion
Motion detection search allows the search for motion in a specific
camera’s field of view to find a particular event, and avoid
searching through potentially hours of video to find it
Abandoned / Removed
This search is used to determine when a stationary object was
placed, moved or removed. The amount changed allows for the
search for larger or smaller changes in the region.
Object Detection
This search finds objects that move into a specified region of
interest, and is similar to a normal motion detection search except
that it only finds objects the first time they enter that region.

New Features > Video Smart Search What’s New in C•CURE 9000 v2.90
Video Smart Search (cont.)
• Supported Video (Analytic) Searches (American
Dynamics) (cont.)
Crowd Formation *
Searches for occurrences when more than a certain number of
people or objects are in a preset region of interest. The crowd
size is determined by setting the minimum number of objects
that determine crowd size.
Dwell *
This analytic detects objects dwelling (mostly stationary) in a
region of interest. The minimum amount of time an object is
considered to be dwelling before being included in the results is
preset. A higher overlap setting is used to avoid detecting
objects dwelling nearby but outside the region of interest.
Linger *
Linger detects objects lingering in a region of interest if those
objects remain within in that ROI. The minimum amount of time
an object must linger before being included in the results must
be preset. A higher overlap setting is used to avoid detecting
objects lingering nearby.

Video Smart Search (cont.)
• Supported Video (Analytic) Searches (American
Dynamics) (cont.)
Direction (N, S, E, W) *
The Direction analytic finds objects moving in a certain direction
through a region of interest. The general direction of motion to
search for, and the maximum amount of time the object can take
to traverse most of the region is preset (N,S,E,W for Exacq)
Enter *
The Enter analytic finds objects entering a camera view through
a specific doorway or threshold. This search excludes objects
that can be seen through the doorway or threshold but do not
pass through it.
Exit *
The Exit analytic finds objects exiting a camera view through a
doorway or threshold. This search excludes objects that walk up
to the doorway but do not pass through it.

New Features > Video Clip Management What’s New in C•CURE 9000 v2.90
Video Clip Management
• Video Clip Management allows for the download, storage,
viewing, and archiving of video clips from a network video
recorder (NVR).
This is completed by separating video clips from the NVR.
Clips can be saved past their expiration date(s) on the NVR.
The archived clips can be viewed in multiple clients, with
viewing rights managed by standard C•CURE 9000 privileges in
System Variables, rather than Windows privileges.
• The Clip Management feature is open and accessible to
third-party partners.
There are two main levels of integration which will allow
partners to determine how much work should be done in their
integration, and how much should be handled by the CrossFire
SDK.
The “work” of downloading the clips will be handled by the
integration itself.
• A centrally managed video clip repository can better
support an Enterprise environment.
37
