The Problem? 26,000
tonnes of plastic waste is
generated every year
With more than 700 metric tonnes of waste being
generated daily in Mumbai, we see that it affects the
people living in coastal area the most

90% of this ends up becoming

landfills.

93%
of the pollution is because
of untreated waste

By 2050, we will see more plastic than

Plastic is essentially derived from Crude Petroleum. The process of getting Plastic Oil/ Poly fuel is a reverse process to transfer the waste from
its current plastic state to a fluidic state as follows: COST ESTIMATION

The Impact

The by-products created would also be utilised to enhance and alleviate the lives of thousands who have faced the fury of
nature for no fault of their own.

The byproduct would also be used to further generate alternate and efficient sources of energy.
Thus, our solution aims to address multiple issues and tries to utilise the products and byproducts generated in the most
efficient way possible while keeping all the stakeholders in mind.

What we aim to create with this solution is an ecosystem that

would be self-sustaining and growing at the same time. Plastic
waste has been one of the biggest threats to our marine and
biosphere.

With this solution, we not only try to bring a solution for the
plastic waste, but we also try to better the lives of those who
are affected directly or indirectly by this.
