CASE DESCRIPTION
Gang of 5 men (three carpenters and two steel fixers) was executing section of slab which is elemen
Critical Path. On fifth day Client Instruction issued for changing rebar design and increasing qty. Th
required dismantling of all executed reinforcement (two days - days 5 & 6), waiting time for new rebars
(three days - Days 5, 6 & 7) and assembly new reinforcement (one day more due to increased qty). On tenth
formwork supplier delayed supply last 20% of slab formwork for one day.

The attached programme contains details of the project.

The Client’s & Contractor’s respective entitlements are as follows:

1. Liquidated Damages/Penalties: € 10,000/day


2. Contractor's EOT Claim: € 5,000/day
