Informative Speech

An informative speech is written to present your audience


with interesting and helpful information. This might include
giving information on a person, an animal, a thing, or a
procedure.
E.g., Famous Person, Animal Rights, Coffee Machines,

an Informative Speech

● Knowledge - Show your credibility by demonstrating


competence and knowledge about the topic. Present ideas,
facts and statistics.
● Key Points - Repeat all the main point to guarantee
information retention.
● Interest - Present the subject with enthusiasm and offer
interesting facts or stories about the subject.
Three Sections of an
Informative Speech

Section 1: Introduction. First part of the speech. It


includes the purpose of the speech and preview of the
main points. It must be attention-grabbing.
Section 2: Body. This is the heart of the speech. This
part gives your audience all the information about the
topic. It includes examples or evidence.
Section 3: Conclusion. The last part of the speech. It
summarizes the points states and closes the speech.
