The Efficacy of Psidium Guajava (guava) Extract as Bactericidal Soap

Statement of the Problem:

Statement of the Problem This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Psidium

Guajava (guava) extract as antibacterial soap. If it is possible to make soap from leftover soap

pieces and guava extract, and if it is still effective at eliminating bacteria. The results of the study

will be the basis for recommendations.

Specific Sub-problems:

Specifically, this study seeks to answer the following:

1. Is there a significant difference between the effectiveness of homemade and manufactured soap?

2. Is there any constituents of Guajava (guava) extract that is good for skin?

3. How long does the experimental soap take to effect than the manufactured one?

4. Do people with sensitive or allergic skin are able to use it?

Statement of Hypotheses:

H0: There is no significant difference of the effectiveness in eliminating bacteria.

H1: There is significant difference of the effectiveness in eliminating the bacteria.
