Electrolyte and acid-base balance disorders in

advanced chronic kidney disease
According to (R Alcázar Arroyo), the kidneys are critical organs for maintaining the body's
electrolyte balance as well as the acid-base balance. With glomerular filtration rates in the
range of 10-25 ml/min, progressive loss of kidney function results in a number of adaptive
and compensatory renal and extrarenal changes that allow homeostasis to be maintained.
When glomerular filtration rates fall below 10 ml/min, there are almost always changes in the
body's internal environment that have clinical consequences. According to ( Dhondup T. ·
Qian Q.) The kidneys play a critical role in electrolyte and acid-base balance regulation.
Derangements in electrolytes and acid-base balance are unavoidable as kidney function
declines, contributing to poor patient outcomes. Medical providers are increasingly
confronted with such issues as chronic kidney disease (CKD) has become a worldwide
epidemic. A proper diagnosis and treatment will reduce complications and may even
save a person's life.

Development of Kamias (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) Jam with Coconut

Water
According to Shirley R. Jusayan(2015) pH meter and commercially available or synthetic
indicating means are commonly used to determine the acidic or basic nature of materials.
The aqueous and ethanolic extracts of kamias (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) flowers containing
anthocyanin pigment were used to make an eco-friendly pH indicator in this study. To
create a colored chart, the Kamias pH indicator paper was calibrated using buffer
solutions ranging from pH 0 to 14. This was used as a baseline for the product's
subsequent effectiveness and acceptability tests. The indicator produced received a high
level of approval from the respondents, indicating that it could be a viable alternative to
commercially available pH indicators. The shelf-life test also revealed that it could be
stored for three months without losing effectiveness. These findings have significant
implications for further product refinement and storage time, as well as the manufacturing
of kamias pH indicator paper.
The Potential of spoiled kamias fruit as an
electrolyte of the common cell
According to Bales, Donalito L. Jr.(1995) The possibility of using spoiled kamias fruit as an
alternative source of energy was investigated in this study. Its goal was to create dry cell
contraptions that used kamias fruit as the electrolyte and could generate a significant amount of
potential difference.Kamias had the highest potential of about 0.8 V among the fruits that were
pretested (papaya, latundan, saba, indian mango, and kamias). Factors that may affect potential
difference, such as the presence of water, acid and base, and the rate of the fruit's spoilage, were
tested on kamias. The voltage produced by pure kamias and those produced by kamias
combined with water, a basic or acidic solution had no significant difference, according to the test
results.

THE POTENTIAL OF SPOILED KABAPINE PASTE

AS AN ELECTROLYTE IN COMMON DRY CELL
According to BALLEZA. ronz, iah, mes(2011)The possibility of using a combination of spoiled Kamias,
Banana, and Pineapple (KaBaPine) fruits as an alternative source of power was investigated in this
study. Its goal was to create dry cell contraction using KaBaPine fruits as the electrolyte and generate
a significant amount of potential difference. The fruit mixture was tested beforehand and yielded a
potential difference of about 0.80 Volts. On the KaBaPine combination, factors such as acid and
base, as well as the rate at which the fruit spoils, were tested. The voltages produced by pure
KaBaPine and those produced by KaBaPine combined with basic or acidic solutions did not differ
significantly, according to the test results. The contraptions were made out of old size C dry cell zinc
containers. As the new electrolyte, KaBaPine was placed inside. The copper wire was soldered to the
cap's base and used to seal the cell in place of the carbon rod found in most dry cells. The KaBaPine
cells were improvised and were able to generate enough voltage to compete with commercially
available ones when connected in series.

Kamias(Averrhoa bilimbi)Extract:An Alternative

Source of Energy for a Lamp”
According to Nicolas Josh DavidElectricity is one of a person's most basic needs in life. Daily appliances
such as electric fans for ventilation and light bulbs for illumination are powered by electricity. Despite the
fact that electricity is abundant in metropolitan areas, few people in rural areas experience scarcity, a lack
of light at night, or a lack of a reliable source of energy. Because of this, children are unable to study
effectively at night. People have to put up with this problem because civilization is too far away to grasp.
