2012 Perry Elementary School Talent Show

Ariana: Good evening everyone and “Welcome to Perry’s Annual Talent Show”! My
name is Ariana Halford and I am in Mr. Rollman’s 5 th grade class. I would like to ask
those of you who have cell phones to please turn them off or set them to silent.

Michael: My name is Michael Dotterer and I’m in Mr. Rollman’s 5 th grade class too.
Ariana and I will be your Master of Ceremonies tonight. We have all worked very hard
to make sure you have fun, so sit back, relax and enjoy the awesome talent we have lined
up for you!

Ariana: Our first performer for tonight is not only new to the talent show but new to the
school. Kindergartners, Amber Carver will be singing “The National Anthem”. Please
stand and remove your hats as Amber impresses you with her talent.

Michael: This is our next performer’s first time participating in the talent show too.
Give it up for 2nd grader, Riley Stone, who will be singing “Restless”. Riley, come on
out!

Ariana: Up next are two 5 th graders ready to get you moving! Amanda Eager and
Katherine Kochan will be singing and dancing to the song, “Hit The Lights”. Girls…take
it away!

Michael: Our next singer is no stranger to the talent show. This is the 4 th year that 5th
grader, MacKenzie Stocks, has performed. MacKenzie will be singing, “Cough Syrup”
by Young the Giant.

Ariana: Up next is 5th grader, Jillian Wesner, singing a popular song that everyone
should know. Singing, “Forget You” by Cee-Lo Green…give it up for 5th grader, Jillian!

Michael: Coming up is funny guy Warren Graff. You will see Warren several times
throughout tonight’s show and after this, he won’t need anymore introductions. Try not
to split your pants when you laugh at his jokes!

Ariana: Up next is our only piano performance of the night. Kindergartner, Samantha
Gruber, will be playing ____________________. Samantha, come show us your skills!

Michael: Making her way on stage is another singer, Ryanne Dougherty. Ryanne is in
3rd grade and will be singing, “A Thousand Years”.

Ariana: 1st grader, Madison Johnson, will be singing, “Put Your Records On” by Corinne
Bailey.

Michael: The next performance has been trying to perform in our talent show for a
couple years but she was either hurt or sick! Finally, we get to see what 3 rd grader,
Emmy Adams can do.

Ariana: Next up is kindergartner, Rowan Clopp. Put your hands together for Rowan as
she sings, “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele!

Michael: Singing another popular song is 3 rd grader, Johnny Fedrosh. Give it up for
Johnny as he sings, “Hey Soul Sister” by Train. Come on out Johnny!

Ariana: For the first time at the talent show, we have a mother and daughter duo!
Haileigh Bernabe and her mom, Rebekah will be performing a gymnastics and dance
routine to “Fighter” by Christina Aguilera. Feel free to dance along in your seat!

Michael: 1st grader, Devan Yoder, will be singing, “Telephone” by Beyonce and Lady
Gaga. Give it up for Devan!

Ariana: Our final performance is no stranger to the stage! 5 th grader, Jonathan Mertz,
will be playing “Sunshine Of Your Love” on his electric guitar. Get ready to rock out!

 Mrs. Jones from the high school for loaning her camera and tripod to record the show.
 Grace and Jill, the custodians, for keeping our school looking great!

Without all of them, we would not have had such a successful show!
