jobs to keep up with it. According to a new report from We Are Social and Hootsuite, the
top social media platforms added almost 1 million unique users every day in 2018. Each

The number in who use the Internet is up 7% from last year. The number of people who use
social media is up 13% from last year. The number of people using cellular devices is up 4%
from last year.

ways to give their customers high-quality, meaningful brand experiences that stick with
them.
Paid search ads are also expected to take up most of the advertising budget, with display
ads and digital video ads getting 13% of the money.
In the past four years, online video budgets have grown by 114%, and spending on video ads
is expected to rise by 18%.

Pew Research says that almost three out of four adults agree that they are responsible for

prospects, build relationships, and keep in touch with them. Since 67% of the buyer's
journey is now done online, sellers need to be online to meet their sales goals.
72% of salespeople did better than their peers when they used social media in their work.
They also met their goal by 23% more than they needed to, and 54% of the deals they
closed were linked to social media engagement.
With these numbers, more and more sales teams will want training to bring them the tools
they need to go above and beyond their goals. It will also give them the skills they need to
