Singing is the extracurricular activity that I am most interested in and it is also my favorite hobby. I
also like dancing and acting. apart from Singing my other hobbies are Writing, gaming, and playing
Badminton.

-For my project in final year, I got special recognition from Civil Department, and our project of live
model of “Spiral Staircase using Ferro-Cement” is displayed in Civil Department Wing as one of the
achievements of Students of Civil Department.

-I was awarded Merit certificate on state level, “Maharashtra Talent Search Examination” in my 9th
Standard in April 2011.

- I was in top three Positions on the district level in National Science Olympiad in 2008.

-I was 1st in the district Level National Cyber Olympiad in 2007.

-I was also awarded as “Best Boy” for the Year 1999-2000 when I was in KG2 Standard.

I am from a small town called Gachiroli. I have spent most of my childhood years there. Gachibowli,
a place basically known as a Naxal base, is abundant in nature. Though famous as a Naxal place,
believe me, in my 10 years of stay, I never encountered any of those Naxalites. It’s basically because
they are majorly active in the interior part of the district. Later I moved to Nagpur where I completed
my Higher Secondary Certificate and then to Pune for my graduation.

I have always followed the philosophy of ‘Live and Let Live’ because I always believed that we should
be aware of our boundaries. Following the same, I have learnt when and where to speak. So,
basically, I purposefully don’t interfere in others’ matters. But this doesn’t mean that I ignore things
around me. I have a bunch of really close friends who approach me whenever they want because
they are aware of the fact that I will be there for them, maybe at times as a problem solver.

As a person you will find me kind of a funny person and people really get comfortable around me. I
have heard many say that they don’t believe that they have met me for the first time. It’s as if they
have known me for years even if we have met for the first time this morning. I believe in speaking
truth and that is why I have always been honest with everyone. That is the thing people usually like
about me. The quality of being honest.

One thing I would like to specially mention is that my parents mean a lot to me. They have always
supported me in all my decisions. There are times when I feel low, uncomfortable, angry, anxious
and so on, but my parents know very well how to bring me back to normal. I know we approach our
friends in such situations but it is not necessary that they are always available. Our parents are the
ones who are always there for us. They always have time to listen to us. I share a special bond with
my parents, a bond of friendship. I know they will always back me up under any circumstances.

The most significant event that happened in my life was when I with my family visited my uncle in
Mumbai. My father, mother, sister and me were for the first time came to Mumbai. We were very
new to that place and that's why we decided to explore Mumbai. We came to the railway station to
catch our local train and the local we wanted to catch was on our opposite platform. My mother
didn't know about the time interval for departure of the local train. and she didn't know that we
were to cross the platform through= the local and therefore unknown to the situation she started to
look for the seats and train started to move my father was holding my hand and my mother was
holding my sister's hand.

As she realized that this was not the train to board, she panicked and jumped out of the moving
train and my father and me behind her jumped out of the moving train as well. That day to save us
brother and sister they both leaped first so that they could cushion or fall. I was 10 so I couldn't
understand the situation but after some years I came to realize how my parents saved our lives. and
that made me realize taht my parents have made many sacrifices for me and my sister, and that day
I decided that I will repay them with everything I got and try to provide them with a peaceful life.
That event really changed my way of thinking about my parents.
