Key Achievements
• Joined the ICDP DeepCHALLA project workshop, which has involved diverse specialized analyses on
the 250,000 years of paleoclimate archive recovery from bottom sediments of Lake Chala. The
project involved modelling past and future climate changes (May 2022)

• Involved in Green Fiscal Policy training program, through United Nations Institute of Training and
Research (UNITAR). This entailed the goals of fiscal and monetary policy which is to achieve high
rate of economic growth and to stabilize prices and wages. (July 2022)

• Trained and tested through United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) in a Mastering
National Adaptation Plan (NAP). The training involved learning and understanding the process that
helps countries conduct comprehensive medium- and long-term climate adaptation planning.
