Education and Health)

Project Site: James L. Gordon Integrated School

Proponent: MICAHEL A. RIVERO

Target Participants: Grade 8 Learners – 145 Learners
Project Period: April 21- July 3, 2023

II. RATIONALE
In accordance with the DepEd Memorandum 117, S. 2022, Face-To-Face
Training Workshop on Development of School Learning Recovery Plan and in
support to the DepEd’s Adaptation of the Basic Education Learning Continuity
Plan for school year 2022-2023, James L. Gordon Integrated School proposed the
project T.U.T.O.R. MAPEH (Teaching Unmastered competency Over Real-life
experiences in Music, Arts, Physical Education and Health) to address the
learning gaps of the learners from their previous year and to decrease the number
of learners who are at risks of failing and dropping out.

According to the RMYA result in grade 8 MAPEH the learners are not able to
attain the standard percentage of competency. Using the provided data
undertaken by the learners during their RMYA only 3% of the learners from
the grade 8 with total number of 145 learners are able to pass the examination and
it is the greatest mission of the teachers to the learners in this point of time to give
interventions and bridging the learning gaps of the learners.

III. PROJECT PURPOSE
