NARRATIVE REPORT ON BRIGADA ESKWELA

SY: 2021 - 2022

I. INTRODUCTION

“Bayanihan” is one of the core essences of the Filipino culture

where the concept of the Brigada Eskwela has rooted. Bayanihan
(communal unity) or concerted solidarity is the Filipino spirit of
helping one another as a community in achieving a certain task
without expecting or asking for anything in return.

The said activity was done in 10 days with corresponding

different tasks and activities on each day. The first day was intended
for a Kick – Off Program, including putting signage outside school
ground regarding the Brigada Eskwela and announcing the annual
activity through a midland radio.

In the first week, we offered some activities such as, conduct

orientation for the new normal classes and the modalities to be
used, construct handwashing facility near the School gate and
putting of signage regarding Covid-19 Protocols.

The second week continue the following activities such as:

Bayanihan, clean-up drive in the school ground, classrooms and
school facilities, train teachers on the use of technology and
orient parents on the new role in relation to DEPED’s distant
learning program.

The Closing Activity was done in the second week of Brigada

Eskwela, a closing program was conducted. The said program was
formally closed and thanked all the participants in behalf of the
faculty by the School Head Dorothy Joy S. Sichon, the teachers and
the Brigada Coodinator.
