(ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION)

Prior to the resumption of classes, schools must assess and evaluate programs related to COVID as part of the
adaption of the Office in the “New Normal”.

This checklist aims to measure the capacity of the school to implement and sustain COVID programs to lessen
the transmission of the virus and maintain a healthy and conducive environment to learners and teachers.

CLEANING, VENTILATION AND DISINFECTION POLICY


Compliance to protocols on Cleaning and Maintenance Systems :
a. Face mask, face shield and gloves must be worn by utility and maintenance /
personnel at all times

b. Posting of cleaning schedules in all classrooms, laboratories, libraries, toilets, office /
and handwashing facilities (once every 2 hours or at least 3x a day)
c. Door knobs, computer set and any other commonly used equipment must be cleaned /
and disinfected regularly (Before and after every use)
d. All windows must be open at all times. Removal of curtains. /

INFECTION CONTROL

a. Establish Safety Monitoring Officers (to monitor compliance to safety protocols) /

c. Provision of thermal / infrared thermometer (Guards/Safety officers and Teachers are /
instructed to get the temperature of all the students before entering the premises and
the classrooms respectively)

f. Practice Bowing/ Nodding as a sign of respect and Waving for greetings instead of /
