General Notation
Percussion Notation

( ) Percussion instruments:
Vibraphone, Glockenspiel, Timpani (large), Crotales (D, D#)
2 Bongos, 3 Tom-toms, Temple Blocks (set of 5), 2 Suspended Cymbals, 1 Cowbell, Tambourine,
Accidentals affect only the note to which they are
Sleigh Bells, Guiro, Flexatone, Paper, Medium Matchbox
attached, except in case of tremolos or repeated notes.

Score distribution:

The number of notes to be played in accell./rit. is free.

Tremolos are always played as fast as possible (not measured).

Recorder Notation

This piece uses the following recorders: Garklein, Soprano (in C), Tenor (in C), Grand Bass (in C)
Improvise using written notes, in any order.

Indeterminate glissando (approximate pitch indicated by the lines) Multiphonics (free multiphonics based on the lowest pitch)

Improvised (always very fast)

Pitch oscilation Multiphonics oscilation

Distorted sound (done with variable blow pressure)

Accordion Notation Cimbalom Notation

Cimbalom uses two types of glissandi. Normal vertical gliss is done across several strings, from high to low pitch or vice-versa.
Vibrato Horizontal gliss is done on one string only, by scratching it from left to right or vice-versa.

Normal glissando (across the strings).

Bellow shake (always very fast and with free rhythm).

Air sound. Horizontal glissando on one string only.

Go progessively from single pitch to cluster. Play on instrument body (always use the mallet).

Very fast and irregular sack changes, almost bellow shake.

Play with the harmonics by moving the finger on the string.

Scrapping the string

Plucked string

Play normally, and after gently touch the string with a metalic beater to produce a "metallic" tremolo.

Playing (or scratching) very close to the edge of the string.
