9 ENTIRETY THE 2022 ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE
10 SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN (SK) OF BARANGAY VILLA
11 KANANGA, THIS CITY, AS APPROVED PER ITS SK
12 RESOLUTION NO. 006, SERIES OF 2022, AND FOR OTHER
13 PURPOSES

16 WHEREAS, presented before the Honorable Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) is the letter
17 dated July 19, 2022 from the City Finance Committee, through the Office of the City Budget
18 Officer, endorsing the 2022 Annual Budget of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay
19 Villa Kananga, this City, involving an appropriation of Four Million Five Hundred Twenty Six
20 Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty Four Pesos and Ninety Six Centavos (PHP4,526,964.96),
21 approved per SK Resolution No. 006, Series of 2022;
22
23 WHEREAS, the City Finance Committee duly endorsed the subject SK Annual Budget
24 after having reviewed the same, taking into consideration the provisions of Sections 20 (a), (c)
25 and (d) of Republic Act (RA) No. 10742, also known as the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act
26 of 2015 and its Internal Rules and Regulations (IRR), Section 333 and 335 of RA 7160 of the
27 Local Government Code of 1991, and other pertinent rules and regulations;

29 WHEREAS, the SP Committee on Appropriations and Accounts, in a hearing conducted
30 on August 01, 2022, deliberated on the subject Barangay SK Annual Budget and deemed the
31 same in order;

33 WHEREAS, premises considered, the Honorable SP duly concurs with the
34 aforementioned SP Committee.

36 NOW THEREFORE, upon motion of Honorable
37 _______________________________, duly seconded by Honorable
38 __________________________, be it –

40 RESOLVED, to declare as operative in entirety the 2022 Annual Budget of the
41 Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay Villa Kananga, this City, as approved per SK
42 Resolution No. 006, Series of 2022, effective upon its approval, subject to the posting
43 requirements under Section 59 of RA 7160.

45 RESOLVED FURTHER, to inform the concerned Sangguniang Barangay and
46 Sangguniang Kabataan that this review action does not authorize any item of appropriation that
47 is specifically prohibited by or inconsistent with the provisions of law.
48
49 RESOLVED FINALLY, to furnish copies of this Resolution the Offices of the City
50 Mayor and the City Administrator, the City Budget Office, the City Accounting Office, Office of
51 the City Treasurer, and the Sangguniang Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay
52
53 Villa Kananga, for information and appropriate action.
