S-Corner

● Go to https://ecampus.iitd.ac.in/scorner/login
● S-Corner will be used to pay Semester fess and Hostel and Mess fees
● You have to submit form A to H on S-Corner
● Login credentials for S-corner would be sent to you in ‘Welcome mail’ received by
you.

● Webmail

● An IITD email account is associated with Kerberos ID and it can be accessed through
this address https://webmail.iitd.ac.in/src/login.php
● You can also access it through IITD main website. On the Home page, click on “For
Students” and then on “Access IITD e-Mail”. Then, use your Kerberos ID and
password for logging in.
● Please note that after orientation, all the students will get any official notification from
any office or faculty member of the Institute ONLY on their IITD e-mail. This E-mail
address is the only channel through which the Institute would communicate with the
student. Thus, it is very important to check the IITD email regularly (at least once a
day).
● For cyber security reasons, e-mail accounts/Kerberos logins that are not used for a
certain length of time are disabled and such accounts are locked/deleted by the
Institute.
● Students must therefore login into their e-mail accounts/ Kerberos logins regularly.
Further, the Kerberos login password should not be shared with anyone as it may
lead to many legal complications including disciplinary action.

HOW TO LINK YOUR WEBMAIL WITH GMAIL OR ANY OTHER MAIL APP
● Android
● → Go to Settings > Accounts > Email
● → 'E-mail id' is kerberos_id@iitd.ac.in
● → 'Username' is kerberos_id and 'Password' is your kerberos
password
● → Choose 'Manual Setup' > 'IMAP Account'
● → IMAP server : mailstore.iitd.ac.in
● → Security Type : SSL (Accept all certificates). Click Next.
● → SMTP server : smtp.iitd.ac.in
● → Security Type : SSL (Accept all certificates).Click Next
● → Choose synchronisation frequency and other options as per
your choice. Click Next
● → Set a name for your account. Click Done

iOS and iPadOS

● → Go to Settings > Mail > Add account > Others > Add Mail
Account.
● → Enter your Name, email id is kerberos_id@iitd.ac.in and
password is your kerberos password. Click Next.
● → Host name of 'incoming mail server': mailstore.iitd.ac.in
● → Username : kerberos_id
● → Host name of 'outgoing mail server': smtp.iitd.ac.in
● Click next -> Click continue in the 'pop up window'

● One can also use the MY MAIL app

● Course plan can be viewed in Courses of Study for your respective department
● Just Ctrl + F your department code (eg. EE1,ES1) and find the course plan of your
respective department

These are courses from different departments (other than yours) that are
recommended in one’s degree.
Example for a student of EE1 PYL102, MTL106,COL106,MCL142 come in this
category.
● Departmental Core:
These are the core courses of your own department.
Example for a EE1 student ELL205 ELL202 etc come in this category.
● Departmental Electives(DE):
These are the elective courses of your own department.
Each department offers its own departmental electives.
● Other Courses(OC):
These are the courses that a student takes from other departments other than the
Programme-Linked Basic/Engineering Arts/Sciences Core.
