After watching the livestream, answer this activity:

From the livestream, which one/s relates to the study of this course in Internationalization?
Discuss your own understanding of CTU's aim of continuous expansion for International
Partnership.

1. The internationalization of Cebu Technological University is somehow connected to this course

in a way that they are both looking at a wider and more global perspective. While globalization
deals with the global flow of ideas, resources, and knowledge, internationalization focuses on
incorporating an international and global notion into the university's vision, mission, teaching and
learning techniques, and research. The fact that CTU is planning for its internationalization shows
that the university is already prepared to share its advanced expertise and services with the world
in exchange for those of others, as well as to form strategic alliances and partnerships with other
educational institutions around the globe. The university's internationalization can not only
demonstrate to the outside world that we are responsive and competitive, but it can also educate
individuals about the impact of globalization on today's world, encouraging greater participation,
awareness, and consideration of our place in it.

2. Cebu Technological University aims to attain its VMGO to increase its global impact and gain
more recognition for the university both nationally and internationally. In doing so, it commits to
collaborating with highly regarded institutions all over the world to exchange knowledge and
collaborate in order for students and faculty to take the lead in the global knowledge economy
and for the university to become a more responsive and competitive institution on a global scale.
The partnerships would include barter courses, research collaborations, deep understanding
between different cultures and communities, etc. The talk, which aimed to discuss the matter last
Monday, involved an invitation of different speakers from the six continents. It served as an
avenue for an engaging exchange of ideas, knowledge, and practices to better strengthen the
partnerships with different institutions.
