Cathedral of Junks

Junk is stuff that takes up room, and something that is next to nothing value.
People buy junk every day for a purpose, and when they are done with it they
store it, buy more of it, and live with it. Junk art is a concept that created in
order to save the environment polluting in various ways, and also to
demonstrate that art can be made out of anything.

Despite not everyone being a fan of the said Cathedral of Junk, it is still being
appreciated due to someone thinking that junk can be made into something
worth admiring. I also admire his sense of using junk as artwork since it
reduces some of our trash which only makes our environment ugly. Seeing
the artwork at first it is quite an eyesore due to the colors clashing but I found
some pics where it looked like there were color coding in some areas which
was pleasing to see. I thought seeing the building it looked somewhat risky I
was afraid some pieces might fall. I’m amazed that it took 30 years to make
the cathedral and when it was inspected by the engineers of the city for
weaknesses it was found to be rock solid. I appreciate any artwork but I find
the cathedral of junk quite overwhelming to look at since the things used in
the art are junk and are not coordinated with each other, some pieces might
be clashing with others or there could be pieces that when placed beside
each other would outshine one another which for me is not a good idea. I love
that he wants people to come and enjoy his work but to also walk away with
the idea that they could also do something wacky too.

Art can both be seen as positive and negative you just need to find someone
who also appreciates the art you have done by yourself, be it made from the
junk or from materials you bought. Art is still Art what’s important is that you
have fun making the art you love and not give up even if other people are not
fond of what you made.
