Quality Statement:

“Product quality is an imperative! We here at Adidas have established standards and rules that
specify the company's responsibilities towards its global workforce. With our company-wide
product safety and quality assurance policies in place, we guarantee consistency in applying
physical, chemical product safety and conformity standards across all brands of the company. To
ensure product quality and consumer-safe products, all materials and product samples have to
pass a rigid compliance process and are tested in accordance with customized material and
product testing specifications and procedures”

The quality statement of Adidas is in symmetry with the 7 Zero’s and the Pillars of TQM,
thereby highlighting the fundamental aspects that comply with distinct policies and standards.
The manuscript synchronizes itself completely with the features of comprehensive screening,
customization, mitigation of risks and a proactive approach to help it apprehend the need and
make room for further enhancement. However, the quality statement of Adidas did not entirely
justify the concepts of “zero setup time” and “zero purchase time”, hence leaving a gap to be
bridged.

In totality, we can say that the quality statement of Adidas could have been more detailed with
respect to the purchase and production of goods/raw materials, besides laying added emphasis on
prevention of defects and zero improvement time to achieve continuous modification.

Quality statement:

Sony is committed to improving product and service quality from its customers' viewpoints and
works hard to maintain and enhance customer satisfaction, confidence and trust. This effort is

Sony’s quality statement depicts that the resources are intended to be configured in such a way
that will define quality management in company’s system across all the processes and the three
major resources human, technical and financial resources, to avoid any type of ambiguity and for
crisis management.

Zero setup time

In accordance with the zero setup time , the quality policy and philosophy of the company
clearly defines the guidelines that system and employees are of greater responsible in providing
high quality in every product and service from it’s planning, development, design, production to
its sales and delivery.

Zero defect time

Sony intends to provide product and services that ensures the quality which will be beyond the
expectation of is customers providing the perfect solution in accordance with zero defect time to
for coming up with good qualitied products and services.

Zero purchase time and inventory time

Through its stakeholder engagement activities and legal code of conduct Sony intends to
maintain good relationship with its suppliers, employees and other business partners for pursuing

According to the zero feedback time and zero improvement time, Sony intends to strives to get
product feedback from its users, for this Sony implements programs wherein users with visual
impairments use products for a designated period of time and provide feedback to improve
product design, the company uses repeated cycles of user testing to improve the accuracy of the
product’s accessibility functions.

Continuous improvement

Sony ultimately believes in continuous improvement in its product, services, research and
