PF TAXI and RWY TURN OFF lights to ON

check that brake pressure is zero on triple indicator

PF announces Brake Check and applies the brakes,


Max brake temperature for takeoff:
checking the aircraft brakes correctly

Without brake fan: 300C
PM announce Pressure Zero for verifying that normal
With brake fan: 150C
braking system is working

PM checks full travel on the F/CTL page and make


necessary call-outs for PF side
Pilots may make flight control checks before taxi
PF/PM FLIGHT CONTROL CHECK
or during taxi if it is safe
PM silently checks full travel and the correct sense of all
elevators, ailerons and spoilers for his own side

PM Predictive Windshear auto

PM Transponder confirm set for takeoff

PM Terrain ON PM ND, radar ON PF ND (If required )

After the completion of the second flight control checks,

PM When cabin secure, T.O CONFIG TEST


PM Check T/O Memo on ECAM

BEFORE TAKEOFF CHECKLIST (to the line) when cabin is ready

PM Switch TCAS to TA/RA

PM Advise cabin crew (for takeoff) when cleared to line up or Take-Off

PM Select the radar ON, display on the PF side

PM SLIDING TABLE check stowed

PM Confirm Takeoff Runway (correct and safe)

PM SET EXTERIOR LIGHTS Landing Light: ON
Nose: T.O

PM Packs OFF This is because of potential EGT increase
