WELCOME TO LUXE TALENT AGENCY

Welcome to Luxe Talent Agency
Congratulations on your placement with the Luxe Talent Agency. We are dedicated to
maintaining an excellent standing in the entertainment business.

Welcome to our team! We have compiled a list of helpful guidelines that we ask you to
please follow:

Please read this packet over very carefully. We welcome any questions you may have. It is
important to us that you fully understand all of the information in this packet. If you have
any questions, please let us know, we can easily help via phone or e-mail. All material
covered in this packet is vital to the business, and we need to ensure that you have
completely read through this packet before we can send you out. There are items and
information in this packet that need returning. Please email it back to your agent.

We, at Luxe Talent Agency work very hard for our talent, doing all we can to give you
plenty of opportunities to try your hand and skills at the entertainment business. We are
very excited about representing you and working with you but it must be made clear that
we are your agent.

Due to product conflicts, scheduling and simple old-fashioned loyalty, it is vital to the
integrity of our relationship and the business that if you obtain work from self-submitting
while under representation, we will kindly request that you send us our 20% agency fee for
Non-Union and Print bookings, and 10% for SAG projects since we are the agent of record.
If you do not wish to have professional agency representation, please contact us to
terminate our services. Far too many of those self-submitting jobs are seriously taking
advantage of the talent by not supplying buy out fees, bonuses and use fees. The
overzealous actor / model / parent are being taken advantage of, giving you the false
impression that you are gaining by not having to pay an agent 20% of that flat fee for Non-
Union and Print, 10% for SAG bookings, when in fact they know that if they would have
contacted an agent they would be negotiating with a professional and held accountable to
the going rates as well as bonuses and buyouts that you as a model / actor are entitled too.

In the following packet, you will find a list of things you need to do to get started, please
follow our guidelines closely, and if you still have questions, let us know.

The Industry has become technically advanced and streamlined over the years, saving time
and money for both talent and agencies. Much of what we do is done online; please get use
to logging into your email, DAILY, to ensure you don’t miss anything. You can update
pretty much 99% of everything via the internet and the system we use L.A. Casting. But
we are also always open to phone calls and you occasionally popping by to visit.

Lets talk about what it takes to get you out.

o PICTURES & SIZES:

It is very important that you keep all of your information current. Sizes should always be
accurate and current. Pictures need to reflect how you look NOW! You may also upload
pictures of previous work you have done, or other portfolio pics to Casting Frontier, L.A
Casting, but be sure that you have a nice selection of current headshots, modeling shots and
lifestyle shots as well. The key to getting called in by a casting director, or booked by a
client, is having great pictures that catch their eye right away.

The pictures should be clean, crisp, great looking pics, usually with outdoor, natural
lighting, easy backgrounds, not too “busy”, wear bright colors, no logos or busy patterns.

MEN AND WOMEN!

- At least 2 new headshots
- Suit/Office attire photo
- Sports photo (something that you know how to play)
- Musical instrument photo (if you play one)
- If you are athletically built, then I need a running or work out photo.
- If you are in great shape, a beach pic or pool pic.
- An elegant dress or Dinner Attire (WOMEN ONLY)
- Any photos that you feel I can use, but first email it to me for approval.
- If you are being submitted for print, I will let you know if there is any
print/editorial style pictures that I would need.

PLEASE HAVE FULL BODY AND 3⁄4 SHOOTS TAKEN OF EACH LOOK
I know that pictures can get costly. USE YOUR RESOURCES if you are not financially
capable of a “Professional” photo shoot. Use TFP photographers. You can find them on
craigslist, model mayhem and Facebook groups. If you have a friend that knows
photography, ask them to help you. New photos are a requirement, no excuses. We
cannot provide you with audition opportunities if we do not have the right photos for
casting.

o HEADSHOTS:
When going on an audition, please have a headshot with your resume stapled to the back of
picture. Bring this as well as your Casting Frontier Barcode if your audition ticket came
from Casting Frontier. Bring this ítems to all of your auditions and callbacks. Your name
and stats will appear on the headshot. Be sure that our agency phone number (Never put
personal info on your resume) is on the resume. We recommend using photo quality paper
for the headshot.

o SPECIAL SKILLS:
In the Special Skills section of your resume, you want to be sure to put key words that we
may do searches for that are specific to your talent, example “has current passport,
intermediate level skateboarder, can do jumps off the pipe and touch board, speaks fluent
Spanish, bmx expert rider, has been playing the clarinet for 6 years” that sort of thing. We
will often type “skateboard” or something like that, in search of talent with those specific
skills. If you speak more than one language, especially fluently, please be sure to put that in
special skills section.

If you are a beautiful mix of races, we ask that you clarify in the Special Skills section what
you are made of...especially if you are Asian, we ask that you let us know what Asian
ethnicity you are. Example, Korean, Japanese, Chinese... if you are parts of various things,
maybe say 50% Japanese, 50% Vietnamese, or

something of that sorts please specify that as well. If you are a Caucasian mix of lovely
things, no need to get specific, we’ll most likely just be submitting you as Caucasian. But if
you look a lot like one of your ethnicities, give us a heads up as to what country of origin it
may be from.

And if you are old enough to drive, please let us know that as well, and if you can drive a
stick shift, or have any other specialty license, like a motorcycle license
o PROFILE

Your profile on your LA Casting is your main profile commercially and that needs to
be at top notch at all times. So for this, we need to make sure that your profile is listed
in the correct order:

-Film
-Television
-Commercial – Should always say CONFLICTS UPON REQUEST
-Print
-Internet
-Modeling
-Music
-(whatever category you have)
-Training (training should always be at the last on the list of credits).

If you have a skill that can not be photographed, I need you to capture it on video.
There is the option to place clips next to your skills on your LA Casting. If you speak
other languages, please indicate on profile if it is only conversational or if you speak
FLUENTLY.

I would like all commercial talent to start working on “Special skills” reel. Reels do
make a huge difference in terms of being considered for auditions.

Please see below for example of profile layout.

o EMPLOYMENT

While this is your chosen career path, I know you still aren’t at the place where your
commercial gigs and your movie gigs pay the rent. For that I know that you do need to
have a normal job., I get it. But, we do need you to make it to auditions and bookings.
So flexibility in your work schedule or even school schedule is really important. Some
talent work as waiters and UBER drivers. This is some of the best ways to make sure
that you are able to make it to auditions. There are those of you who work corporate
jobs, great! Just make sure that you are able to get the time needed for your auditions.
I can do my best to get you a time frame; you need to be able to make it.

This year, if you do not confirm your auditions on your LA Casting or with me within
three hours of you receiving notification, you will be dropped. To avoid this:

- Make sure you check your emails frequently for audition tickets.

- Make sure that you are checking your text messages for notices of auditions.

- Make sure that our email addresses are saved on your contacts to avoid
emails ending up in “SPAM”.

- If need be, create an email that is solely for your acting work. This will help to
avoid “lost emails.”

o AUDITION NOTICE RULES

o SELF TAPE AUDITIONS

I treat these just as a regular audition. You must get your pictures, video,
story or whatever it is that casting is requesting in by the deadline. As a
rule of thumb, I expect it in earlier. DON'T WAIT FOR THE LATEST TIME.

If a link to submit or to get materials for an audition does not work, then
you must let me know. I may have received or need to get the updated
information from casting. If I have the updated information and you never
asked for it, then I know that you are not really interested in the casting.
Which means I will no longer need an interest in submitting you and will
terminate your contract, IMMEDIATELY.

o MANAGERS

Managers are great. They really can be a tool to a working actor. But, if
your manager is in charge of your audition notices and you are missing
auditions because of them; You need to rethink your manager. I will
drop you if there is an audition ticket unanswered. Even if it is a
managers fault.

o YOUR PROFILE WITH THE AGENCY

As you know, we are an EXCLUSIVE agency. There are cases where talent
may want an agent for a specific category ( sports, fit modeling, hand/foot
modeling etc,) on top of what they have. I will discuss and accommodate
such a request when applicable. But, your profile on the casting system is
ours. If you do get an agent for another purpose, create a new one for that
agent. If your profile disappears, I will assume you are signing with
another agency and will consider you dropped.
o CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

To maximize your booking rate, I am requesting for everyone to continue taking

audition technique classes, improv and on camera workshop classes. All teachers are
different and offer different views and techniques.

Workshops with casting directors are something you should always be on the look out
for. These give you the chance to see what the casting director is like and for them to
know who you are. These are where you want to stand out. They do remember the
people who take their workshops and they always tend to call in these individuals
more often.

o ADDRESS UPDATES:
Please contact your agent and our office when you have a new address. It is very
important for our office to have your current address in order for us to send you your
checks to the correct address.

o EMAIL:
If you have multiple email addresses, please email it to us for our records. We email you
often, so be sure to keep your email address current and up to date. Also, you will want to
add Info@LuxeTalentAgency.com, Luxe e e
Luxe e e u Luxe e e into your
contacts, so our emails do not go to your junk mail.

o TEXTING:
If you would like a text sent to you when we email you audition notices, please be sure we
have a current cell phone number in LA Casting.
o BOOKING OUT:

Please make sure that all your booked-out dates are emailed to your agent with a
minimum 15-day notice. If you receive an audition and you are not available and
you have not booked out, you will be terminated.

o BOOKINGS (THIS IS SUPER IMPORTANT)

When you are on set, you must contact me if us are given any documents to sign, for
us to review before you sign. This is to make sure that the terms of agreement from
casting are the same as the ones from production. On payment forms, please make
sure that the agency information is listed. Payment for bookings must go directly to
office not you. If production asks you to fill out a W9, please contact the office as the
office is to provide them this form.

Check-list: Make sure that you have these all set up. These are going
to be the tolos that you need to be able to really maximize your working
ability.
