Since World War II, Globalization has been driven by two major factors;
a. Decline in barriers to the free flow of goods, services, and capital/free trading;
b. Technological change
3. Financial Globalization- refers to the ease at which money can be spread around the world

Examples: Starbucks, McDonald, Wendy's, Subway, Visa, Wells Fargo, JP Morgan and Chase, Nike,
Adidas, Jordan, Krispy Kreme, Jco Donuts, and other multinational organizations

6. Cultural Globalization- refers to the spread of mixing cultures around the world
Examples: the spread of punk, emo, rock, reggae, and reggaeton music; spread of Disney Culture,
Kpop/kdrama, Telenovela and soap operas, spread of milk tea around the world
7. Ecological Globalization- refers to the idea that the world needs to be considered one
interconnected ecosystem
Examples: Hole in the ozone layer, climate change, global warming, melting of the ice caps,
8. Sociological Globalization- refers to the idea that the world is no longer seen as a group of distinct
