Accounting, as we all know, is a very complicated topic that develops and
functions our brains; it is also an important subject for financial management students since it is constantly in demand. To be honest, the first day of this session has inspired me; I am on a developmental journey to understand and master the fundamentals of accounting. This subject has greatly aided my understanding of the various important aspects of accounting, which I believe will be useful in my future professional world. The lessons explain how I started to understand the purpose of accounting, who needs financial statements, accounting history, the accounting equation, and many other topics. As I studied more about it, I recognized that it will almost certainly be applied in the business sector. I remain assured in stating that the discussion on each important matter is intelligible and conveyed in a clear, consistent, and straightforward manner. Although there are certain aspects that are tough to absorb when they are replayed or I conduct my own study on the particular topic, it becomes evident and I am able to comprehend the lesson in the end. Accounting has unquestionably played an important role in the financial industry. Without an accounting system, no entity can recognize its expenditures and revenues or know where it stands financially. Accounting systems also give essential information for making rational choices. Accounting necessitates a substantial time commitment, and the workload will only continue to expand as the semester progresses. When I first started viewing the video lesson, I pondered to myself, "How am I going to finish all of these lessons when I am a student-athlete with a lot of housework?" But, because each topic is well-explained, I am encouraged and complete the video straight immediately. It's simply that I can't seem to stop myself from learning more about accounting. To be honest, my journey in gaining knowledge of accounting has not been simple. There have been instances when I didn't finish the recorded lesson in one day, thus one video session usually takes two days. There are also times when I interrupt the lecture to look up another definition or method of computing a specific issue, which takes a lot of time. But, in the end, it's all worth the effort and time. I'm ready to go on to the next phase, which is a new topic called "Partnership," when I've completed all of the tutoring sessions for the first quarter. As a college student, accounting is essential not just for obtaining expertise and abilities, but also for critical thinking. It pertains not only to the career we wish to pursue in the next years but also to the behavior we must exhibit in our daily lives. The second recording is not as basic as the previous one; all I can say is that it has a highly intricate topic that can be difficult to understand at times. I discovered that a partnership is a legal type of company ownership in which at least two and up to five persons join forces with the goal of earning money. It also allows several partners to grow their businesses and utilize their various talents and abilities for the mutual benefit of the firm. The subject also addressed the study of accounting based on numerous organizations seen in real-life situations, such as sole proprietorships and partnerships. As a response, I was able to relate to everything I learned throughout this curriculum. Overall, the experiences I've obtained during my studies have changed my life. Learning accomplishments, personal objectives, and future endeavors will all be much more successful as a result of the excellent and efficient teaching I received throughout this subject. Despite the fact that completing online classes is burdensome, the professor did an excellent job of explaining the principles in the most basic and professional manner possible. Every recorded video has a depth of knowledge that I properly understand, and my experience in studying it has resulted in a positive teaching strategy. The topic is mesmerizing, and I've had a lot of fun during my accounting experience. This has proved that learning isn't only about uninteresting textbooks, activities, and lectures; it's about how you force yourself to learn through alternative methods of study. Furthermore, transcribing transcripts is really effective and valuable for me in developing a deeper interpretation of each topic. All of the transcripts I've written will definitely be used in the next chapter of my life, which will be in 2nd Year college, and I'd want to say how thankful I am for this subject.
