LEARNING PROCEDURE

ACTIVITY The teacher will ask the student wether they like movie and let them ask some movies
they watched.
( Introductory)

Before the lesson start the teacher will prepared a short video clip.
ACTIVITY  -Then the teacher let the student to watch attentively so after the video clip they will
share their reflection or ideas about the short movie clip.

The student felt emotional while sharing their ideas. At the same time they are
ANALYSIS evaluating the video clip that they’d watch.

The teacher will discuss the topics and areas in analyzing a movie.
ABSTRACTION Theme is the unifying, central idea of the film. Emotional effect or mood
• Character development/motivation
• Style/structure
• Moral implications
• Human Nature
• Social Problems
• Complexity of Human relationships
Plot Story - should be simple and complex, story handles emotional material with
restraint, significance of the title, plot structureand conflict.

Visual Design - Color vs Black and White, production design/Mise en Scene, costume
and make up, lighting/use of colors, symbolism, camera work/points of view, framing
Shots—Wide shots, medium shots, close ups, extreme close ups

Editing – Editing, jump cuts, transitions, pacing of the film, montage, mise En Scene—
emphasizes the content from a single frame, opposite of montage

Genres – Suspense, coming of Age, drama, comedy, rom-Com, action

The teacher will let the student choose a movie that they already watch and they will
APPLICATION evaluate it in an essay form.

Recall a movie that you won’t forget and apply the Area of Films to Evaluate.
