Making Your Own Trailer
Day 2
Central Focus (Representation of a genre )
Students will continue to work on their storyboard for the first part of
the class. Then for the second half of the class students will begin to
capture there scenes of the tablet we provide

Student Characteristics Students already have a strong understanding of
storyboarding and storytelling. In our next lesson we will
use a familiar tool such as a camera to bring their
storyboards to life.
Rationale for Lesson: Students will continue storyboarding and will start to think
about the processes of blocking when shooting scenes.

Students will continue to work on their filming for the first part of the
class. Then for the second half of the class students will begin to edit
their scenes after watching a demo provided by Instructor Tellado

will be wrapping up their scenes and will begin editing

Students will have extra time to capture their footage on the tablet. As
well have some time at the end of class to go over the editing app vllo.

Rationale for Lesson: Students will continue capturing footage to further the
progress of their trailer. Then will be given extra time to go
over the editing vllo
