 MAGAZINE

THEME: TRUTH and GUIDANCE

 EXPLANATION:
- With this theme, the magazine's basic strategy for encouraging students to
enroll in or pursue STEM is to inform them of the realities of the field and
provide them with guidance and bits of advice so they won't be as
apprehensive or wary about the idea of becoming a STEM student.
This is based on the belief that many students genuinely want to join the
STEM strand but are deterred by their fears of not being deserving, not
possessing the abilities and skills, as well as their fears related to the
expectations imposed on the strand itself. So, our magazine would aim to
alleviate some of these fears and give them insights into what STEM really
is like, which would hopefully give them the strength to pursue the strand.
OBJECTIVES:
 Inform students of the realities of the field and give them insights on what awaits here
in STEM.
 Share stories that would clear up confusion and give students the strength to pursue
the STEM strand.
 Give inciteful and helpful bits of advice and tips that may help incoming and even
current stem students.
 Ease the integration of students in STEM and instill the urgency for students to
embrace STEM.
