To the officers of San Jose City Masonettes, to our Inducting Officer, to my fellow atengs and dear

kuyangs, good evening!

I know all of you are no longer wondering why I am standing before you tonight. Being the
president of San Jose City masonettes now is a great privilege for me. Sjc masonnetes is a very
prestige association that exemplifies sisterhood, camaraderie, charity and solidarity... At ayon nga
po kay Marites, dito ka makakasagap ng latest at maini-init na tsismis!!!! So, let me acknowledge
now the very reason why I am here tonight - the vw jafer Marcon e. Martinez. Because of him, my
dream of becoming a president of an organization has been materialized. Back then, I always end
up being a vice pres., secretary, treasurer, and not surprisingly, muse! And now who knows that
at the age of 41, my quest for presidency just ended victoriously! And for that matter, we now
know, my fellow atengs, where to seek advice, support, and sponsorships for our upcoming
activities.

In fact, all of us atengs won't be here if not because of our dear kuyangs, to them we owe much .
It's all because of them! So mga atengs, let me ask you these:
If may mga kailangan tayo, San tayo lalapit? SA mga.. KUYANGS!

Kung kailangan naten ng pera sa mga activities, san tayo lalapit? SA mga kuyangs!!!

At kapag nagkaproblema, sino ang dapat nateng sisihin? Ang mga kuyangs!!!!

Pero kapag successful tayo, sino ang magagaling?? Ang mga atengs!!!

Having heard that, it seems that we, atengs, are all in the same page. I am so honoured to be a part
of this organization - an organization of tough refined women - indeed, true queens and warriors!
United and with harmony for the benefit of our cause. Let me thank you now my fellow atengs, for
the time, support, and cooperation.

Now, I can confidently say what Apostle Timothy once said, “I have fought a good fight, I have
finished the race, I have kept the faith.” As I am stepping down as the President of San Jose City
Msonettes, Let me just tell you these things. THANK YOU! Because of you, I indeed enjoyed the
journey. I t was Indeed a smooth sailing. Before, I have a lot of apprehensions for my new
responsibility being the president. Pero nagging Madali ang lahat dahil andyan kayo. I enjoyed the
genuine fellowships, the beauty of friendships, the fulfillment of service and the love and support of
my fellow atengs. It is me who have gained much because of this experience. And I cannot take the
credit of being the one who gave much but instead I am the one who gained much

May we continually shine our lights to support our dear kuyangs in their endeavours as well as, be a
blessing to one another and to the community. With that, I am looking forward to a great year with
you. Again, thank you very much and God bless!
