Hazard: Droughts are one example of this sort of danger. It has the potential to
increase disease and insect infestation in plants and livestock. Drought
conditions also cause wind erosion of top soil and an increase in the risk of fire.

Solution: Drought mitigation may be obtained through saving water, growing


more trees, and gathering rainfall. This will aid in drought mitigation by improving
environmental quality and lessening the impact of droughts.

Hazard: This hazard is flood it can cause people to spread infectious diseases,
contain chemical hazards, and can cause injuries. Flooding causes more deaths
than the other hazards. Flooding is a natural hazard resulting from the
combination of geology and weather.

1. What is a fire triangle? How does the fire triangle work? (2pts)

The meaning of a fire triangle is a straightforward method of comprehending the elements of


fire. The side of the triangle symbolizes one of the three elements required for a fire: oxygen,
fuel, and heat. This chemical process of the fire triangle. The first element is heat, it is
important in order for ignition to occur. The 2nd element is fuel because a fire cannot start if
there is nothing to burn. And all combustible elements in homes and companies. The last
elements is oxygen because it combines with the burning fuel to produce heat and CO2.

2. Explain the stages of fire and give at least two examples of each stage. (4pts)
3. What is the leading cause of fire hazards? How will you lessen the effect of fire
hazards? (3pts)

4. Why is fire safety important? Give at least 5 good examples of fire safety tips. (3pts)

5. How will you promote fire safety in case you will deliver a speech to a big audience
during fire prevention month? Why is there a need to educate people about the
effect of fire hazards on human lives? (3pts)
