Memory Verse: “And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they
said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house (Acts 16:30,31).
Our text reveals the miraculous deliverance of the apostles from prison which led to the salvation
experience of the Philippian Jailor and his household. In his bid to receive the salvation
experience, the Jailor asked, Sirs, what must I do to be saved...?” (Acts 16:30).

Question 2: Why is it important for a sinning youth to ask the question: what must I do to be
saved? ____________________________________________________________
______________________________________________________________________________
_____
The topic under consideration is a very pertinent question that every sinning youth must ask
themselves at one point or the other in their lives. This is to avoid being misled amidst several
ideas people have about the requirement for salvation and heaven. Some believe that if your
good works are more than your bad works, you are automatically saved. For others, it depends
on the number of times you pray, the more unbelievers you kill, or offering you give. Some do
not even know their fate; their belief is that heaven knows who will be saved. The list is endless.
Many today, are like the Jews, who in their ignorance established their own righteousness which
cannot save them in the end. What a sorry case!
Question 3: From the following passages, what must a sinning youth do to be saved?
(iii) Proverbs
28:13:_________________________________________________________________
To be saved, you must acknowledge your sins before God, repent, confess and forsake them;
believe on the Lord Jesus and accept him into your life as your personal Lord and saviour. Take
these steps today, for tomorrow may be too late.
