SERVICE EXPERIENCE_____________________________________________________________
● Summer Camp Art Teacher: Zion United Methodist Church, Troy, VA 2013-14
I came up with age-appropriate art projects for preschool to 5th grade
that followed each week’s theme. I taught each class the project and
came up with resemble steps so the children would have fun, but finish
the projects by the end of the week.
● Multi-Purpose Employee: Zion United Methodist Church, Troy, VA 2013-16
Originally hired as the Summer Art teacher, however, during the school
year I was a teaching assistant with many different jobs. I would not
only help watch the children, but I helped clean the church, was a nurse
to the children, helped take care of the preschool children, and was the
homework monitor for the older students (made sure they got their
homework done, but also helped them if need be), and I would communicate
with the parents about their children’s behavior.
● Community Service: Provided artistic knowledge to help kids in the craft
station and make decorations and props for the Vacation Bible School
summer program at Beulah Baptist Church Kent Store, VA 2010-18
Offered my illustration and painting work to Zion United Methodist
Church: Made hand-painted signs of Vacation Bible Schools team mascots
and a display piece of a giant mosquito. Troy, VA 2015
Provided painting skills to Fluvanna County Highschool: I helped trace
and paint the first mural at the school. I filled shapes, did line work,
and shaded. Palmyra, VA 2016
