ABSTRACT

Bicycles are still evolving as a mode of transportation. Acquiring this means of

transportation will allow you to maximize your moment and most of our vacation. It can

be a great way to meet new people while also improving your health and quality of life.

Cycling allows us to travel at a leisurely pace while still allowing you to engage in your

surroundings. The researchers proposed this topic because they are aware of the advantages

and reasons of using a bike for local tourism as a means of transportation in whatever

location they wish to visit. They consider learning more about this important topic,

especially for those people who like to attempt biking in tourism activities. A considerable

measure of crucial information is outlined in the proposed study for the approval of this

research because they aim to enable and hook up among everyone who will be involved by

the study. Researchers conceived the idea of constructing an info graphic for this research

proposal's materials. It's a visual depiction to help people internalize the significance of

this idea. It depicts many aspects and instructions and serves as the primary study

resources. Considering those elements and data into consideration would be a

commendable way to learn more about this concept and would guide future researchers in

expanding this research and assisting their study participants in acquiring more about the

subject. The researchers have put forth a remarkable job to complete this study in any

manner possible and to include a good recommendation for them to look for as well as the

benefits of this study.

CHAPTER 1

THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND

INTRODUCTION

Cycling is a low-cost, health-beneficial means of transportation that also has

environmental benefits for communities that promote it. Most transportation strategies

around the world currently include a gradual reduction in the usage of motorized vehicles

as well as the development of more sustainable, alternative modes of transportation. These

significant changes in travel dynamics will not only assist in improving the environment

(better air quality, less congestion, and more efficient transportation) but will also help to

foster positive interactions among road users, as well as more favorable practices that

support their health and well-being. (Karanikola et al., 2018, Pucher and Buehler, 2017).

In today's society, the media has a strong influence on everyone's health, and many

people believe that the best method to improve one's health is to improve nutritional

quality. In recent research on physical well-being and weighing the pros and cons of

cycling, individuals choose to consider other possibilities that bear the crucial factors on

how it would benefit and improve a person’s health. Other than from a person's health, the

expense of fuel for transportation has resulted in weekly pump prices that have grown

prohibitively expensive nowadays. The underlying problem of preventing this from

unnaturally spreading and developing without a solution, as well as identifying the negative

and good impacts that may occur from one's well-being and lifestyle, has never been more

important than it is now.

1
Cycling has the advantage of being environmentally benign, yet this does not change

the fact that renewable sources are more sustainable than non-renewable sources. It makes

a difference in terms of how much of an impact it has on the environment if it is promoted

as a mode of transportation. Cycling has the most positive health and environmental

consequences of any means of transportation.

This concept of approach should be considered since cycling as a means of

transportation should be promoted because it has numerous health benefits. It has the

potential to save environmentally friendly materials while also being financially profitable.

It's likely that, in addition to the locals, other people will find cycling to be beneficial in

terms of reducing health risks and growing traffic.

2
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

This research aims to establish information for the beneficiaries of the conducted

research proposal. To obtain the essential knowledge, data, and information, the research

sought to answer the crucial questions as follows:

1. Will there be enough space on the road for the beneficiaries/cyclist respondent?

2. The starting point or route map.

3. What are the positive benefits of cycling to their health?

3
OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY

This research aims to assess the information for the people that cycling is the best

alternative in this time of the pandemic.

The following are the objectives of the study:

1. To assess the benefits and effects of cycling on the local and our city.

2. To provide better erudition to the positive consequences of cycling to our health,

environment and numerous traffic around our city.

3. To provide an alternative mode of transportation that provides numerous benefits.

4. To evaluate the information and facts that cycling has any positive consequences on our

health, environmental sustainability, and economy that’s been severely affected by the gas

price hikes.

5. To be able to effectively implement a suitable approach for encouraging them to utilize

bicycles as a mode of transportation.

4
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

The Beneficiaries

This study will help students have a better understanding of how to ride and good use of a

bicycle at a tourist attraction and will give them an advantage.

The City Council

This study aims to inform the officials' aforementioned province for permission, as well as

the proposed project.

The City Tourism Office

This idea is expected to inform and promote residents to cycle to tourist spots, as well as

get their consent for the project's implementation.

The Future Researchers

This research will help them to deepen their understanding and serve as a source of

reference data.

5
