A proposal for
Addis Marketers
Podcast You Tube
program

Almost all Podcast stream programs are produced in similar ways and they
are usually thought to be produced that way. These programs intend to
reach the audiences of any random or selective societies or any
entertainment establishment, but their ratings do not match with the
expected level. In order to increase the quality of these programs and to
make them being regularly watched audience in entertainment and
experience sharing on podcast fields has to work in cooperation.

In Ethiopia, if we look at the general view of nationally produced podcast
programs, almost similar type of programs are broadcasted one next to each
other on YouTube and spotify. This is also true for entertainment &
knowledgeable television programs. Approximately 30 to 45 minutes long
programs. As a YouTube program maker we can say that, these are programs
as with “a small random meeting” For startups, business persons, top
business leaders, market experts or an audience member, we can ask
ourselves how these programs will benefit to these audiences. How successful
are they to meet the expectations of these audiences? Is the aim of the
marketers’ podcast programs to fill podcast time? Respectably, with the
amount of money spent, labor, time; aren’t they all becoming waste? These
are the very first questions coming to mind.

These programs are the results of limited world, society, educational views
and knowledge of producers and educational professionals. In other words,
audience expectations are not under consideration. Social Media do not
provide appropriate environment for all disciplines and subjects. Script text is
written by a specialist with limited YouTube and other social media channels
experience and there is limited cooperation between You Tube producer-
director and the writer. In approximately 30 or 40 minutes a lot of information
is tried to be conveyed depends on marketing. It is hard to say what kind of
educational aspects being aimed with these programs. Specialist on a
particular subject does not actually write podcast script and director faces
difficulties to visualize these.

All these issues create concerns over people in Podcast on marketing and
entertainment who work for solving some problems of education by people
who have serious expectations from Medias. If we really want to have good,
quality, ideal sharing and potentially effective podcast programs we better
think for programs which create the need for watching. This is the issue that
needs to be solved immediately. This problem does not only belong to people
in marketer but to writers, producers and directors: even related organizations,
and gusts. Currently podcast media is like a bridge between mass media and
world of marketers. Production of the program, presentation, hosts and its use
will be the bridge which will be created by a team.

Addis Marketers Podcast should have a sofa (grey
colour), wooden table, book shelf and television for the
background, another shelf on the side corner for
decorative materials and flowers.

Required are the cameras. one
for master shot, second for the
host and third for the guest.

Required lights for every corner of the set. Enough
light for brightness in the studio and prefer if it
can be LED light.

Required at least 1 microphones for each
character or speaker on the set.

Marketer’s podcast programs are categorized according to their content
and context. Addis Marketers podcast media programs fall under three
categories; the first one should be instructional or ideal sharing these
programs present either a business or a marketing piece. They can give
information about a process of business in general an issue prepared by a
specialist is presented with an addition of free talk or stage. It expected
behavioral changes and personal perspective about the topic. The second
one is about motivational programs of two programs and its content
contains problems on the marketing industry especially with
entrepreneurship skills. Audience is informed while we stream the podcast.
