The Student Record of Offense Monitoring System is the most commonly
used system for monitoring student violations. It is critical to keep records for
academic and moral reasons for as long as possible. It is the record that identifies
each student; it can be used to assess your attitude and values. In any processing
data system, manual monitoring is extremely prone to error. Manual process is also
time consuming. If some records are lost due to calamity, they can never retrieve
it.

The Student Record of Offense Monitoring System is used to efficiently

manage and monitor a student's record of offenses. By integrating the system, the
student's record of offenses will be securely managed and kept confidential. Only
those with authority who require the students' record as a report can access the
students' file. These records are highly important to monitor the status of the
students.
 Student records are currently managed mostly manually and stored in a
cabinet. Human errors are most likely to occur in this manual process, such as
misplacing or, in the worst-case scenario, losing the student's record. The manual
process is also time consuming and involves a lot of paperwork.

Project Context

Existing Problem:
  Difficulties in monitoring the student’s violation due to manual system with
loads of paperwork.

 Time consuming of processing the violation of each student.

Solution:

 To develop a system that will ease the service in terms of keeping track of
students’ record of offense in efficient and convenient way.

Purpose
The main purposed of Student Violation Management System is to improve
and enhance the current manual process. The system would keep track of the
students' records. This platform will be accessible only by authorized personnel in
the institutions in order to regularly monitor the students' activities, particularly
their record of offense. The system can also produce detailed reports for the
discipline committees. The proposed system will increase efficiency and
convenience for students and personnel in charge.

Objective
 The main objective of the Student Violation Management System is to
design and develop a system that could eventually replace the current method of
manual records management.

Specifically, the capstone project objectives are the following:

 The project's results will make it easier to keep track of students' record of
offense
 A student's records will be stored and secured in the proposed system
 The system will be efficient and user-friendly.
 The proposed system will assist discipline committees in tracking students'
offense records and taking appropriate action.
 The proposed system will reduce the officer in charge's paper work in
managing the students' files.

Scope and Limitations

The system will include the procedure for tracking student violations.
Additionally, the system can store and back up information and data about student
violations and give simple access to records of academic and behavioral violations.
The system is capable of producing a report that verifies student violations in terms
of academic and behavioral offenses.

Waterfall Model is one of the commonly used models in presenting the flow of the study
of the system which able to breakdown the phases into step-by-step procedure where every phase
having procedures. After the analyzed data and information gathered or being collected from the
desired people being interviewed is now ready to be applied foe making a database program, and
after that, the proponents could be able to start planning or talking about the interfaces and begin
or star with making or designing the system according to its outlooks and functionalities.
