Topic: Conceptualization of Action Research

Creativity

To imrpove the quality of their decisions and actions. JW Best- Immediate application,
not on the development of theory. It has placed its emphasis on real problem - here and now in
a local setting.. Need little efforts, resources and finances, a practical focus, collaboration,
dynamic process, a plan of action.

Classroom Action Research - begins with a question or questions about classroom


experiences, issues or challenges. It is reflective process which helps teachers to explore and
examine aspects of teaching and learning and to take action to change and improve. Reading
comprehension - Angelika focus on one an example given vocabulary or grammar, they do not
know how to express, expressing on their own comfort language however this is an opportunity
for them to express themselves. Behaviour - Erika. A method of finding out what works best in
your own classroom so that you can improve student learning. Purpose - Create healthy and
proper classroom condition and environment, facilitate better teaching-learning, think of the
maximum welfare of learners. Examples, Problem of spelling errors in languages, writing,
discipline and code of conduct, poor attendance in the class, punctuality, wrong pronunciation
in language learning, copying in examination, map reading skills, home work, lack of self
confidence while communicationg, absenteeism. High intervention. Title must be positive.
Concentration, Delimit. Giving unanswered questions is abused, teach them ways how to
asnwer the asked questions. Qualitative - creative, metaphorically, dramatically. Quantitave - it
depends on the problem. Strategies in a particular subject, action research must be disciplined-
based.

Doing action research will improve learner's passiveness in the classroom.
